Step in Sync
Genre: Fluff, Dance Partners to Lovers, SEVENTEEN Being Nosy
Summary: Being SEVENTEEN’s choreographer and dating Dino meant endless dance practices, constant teasing, and—most importantly—being completely in sync with each other, both on and off the stage.
Being SEVENTEEN’s choreographer and dating Dino was like a full-time job—both in managing dance practices and handling the teasing from the members.
Especially when you were only a year older than him.
“Noona, can you check this move?” Dino asked, tilting his head as he demonstrated part of the choreography.
You narrowed your eyes. “Did you just call me noona?”
A low whistle came from the side.
“Uh-oh,” Vernon muttered.
“Dino, you messed up,” Seungkwan whispered, pretending to light a candle.
The youngest only smirked. “What? You are older.”
You crossed your arms, stepping closer. “Lee Chan, don’t make me redo the entire choreography just to tire you out.”
Dino immediately straightened. “I mean—wow, Y/N, you look great today.”
The room erupted in laughter.
“Man really went from ‘noona’ to damage control in seconds,” Mingyu cackled.
Joshua grinned. “We should take notes.”
Dino just huffed, turning back to you. “But seriously, watch this part.”
You nodded, stepping beside him. “Alright, let’s go from the top.”
As soon as the music played, it was seamless.
Dino had always been one of the strongest dancers in SEVENTEEN, but dancing with you? It was like breathing.
Every step, every move—perfectly in sync.
By the time the song ended, the members clapped.
“Damn,” Woozi muttered. “You two really dance well together.”
Seungkwan nodded. “It’s like watching a drama where the leads fall in love through dance.”
You and Dino exchanged glances.
Jun smirked. “Oh wait, that already happened.”
The room erupted into chaos again, but this time, Dino just grinned.
Instead of arguing, he simply threw an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close.
“Yeah, yeah. We get it. I scored the best choreographer and the best girlfriend.”
You rolled your eyes, but the small smile on your lips betrayed you.
And when Dino pressed a quick kiss to your temple—ignoring the dramatic gagging from his members—you knew they were right.
You really did dance in sync.
