They thought having to live and die in a kraang-invested future would be the least of their problems. But having found themselves in the past, a past where the kraang were stopped in time, brings up secrets and lies that had meant to have stayed buried.
With threats looming above their heads while their family becomes fractured, they try so hard to keep their lives from unravelling
But it’s falling apart quicker than they realise. And Donnie isn’t sure he can fix it, but like hell is he going to lose his family again.

She's also publicly stated that she believes that anyone who reads her books or watches her shows and films does so because they explicitly agree with her political views.

There's no "agree to disagree" with her work. Every time you pick up her work or talk about it you are saying to her "I agree with you Joanne" whether you like it or not.

One of my fav scenes in the novel is when WWX takes a moment to collect himself by the river in Dafan mountain, at the beginning. I found it so intimate and personal, a moment of solitude before hell breaks lose again. Coincidentally it’s done in ink (digitally) but it’s not an Inktober thing. I decided I wanted the mountain, the river and the forest in a more ‘chinese inking painting’ style but I’m not sure I did the job right ahah but that’s why they are pictured in 3 different panels.
