if you’re like who tf is this person and why are they following me and spam liking my shit, please understand i am dumb of ass and am more active on my sideblogs than this one. it’s likely we interact from my more active fandom blogs, which i keep separate from this one for ~online stranger danger safety~ reasons. but if you regularly interact with some shouty bitch with one of these icons:

hi, hello, that’s me creeping thru your blog. i mostly just reblog ~aesthetic~ stuff and writing resources and poetry to this one, it’s not super fandom oriented, so if you want to see me bitch about writing or talk about the books i’m reading, feel free to follow :)

here’s my dog, his name is rocky road:

we are doing a book club at work and the lady who runs it asked me for recommendations because i always have great displays of books and i am "well respected" in the library i thought i was going to float away on a cloud omg

i have no idea what i'm gonna pick lol, i was thinking maus would be a good one bc that's recently been banned (and she wanted something longer than the other two we did, which was a graphic novel and a picture book but not quite a full length novel) but i'm not sure about te other two options. i was looking at lists of books banned in prisons to bring attention to that but when you look at those lists it's actually mostly music, magazines, and the ocassional manga.

"We were slaves once. The daylight guardians of the vampires. I was born into servitude. Yet I harbored them no ill will. Even took a vampire for my bride. It was forbidden, our union. Viktor feared a blending of the species. Feared it so much he killed her. His own daughter. Burnt alive for loving me. This is his war. Viktor's. And he spent the last 600 years exterminating my species." Underworld (2003) dir. Len Wiseman

so this list has taught me that i have to read better books. late new year’s resolution. this is in roughly order of favorite but recency bias is a real thing also is it cheating to add short stories idk and lastly feastdance is spiritually the same book to me, um anyways
