was i bullied or just teased comment down below (i was scared to go to school and even after leaving had nightmares about it when i rarely have nightmares about anything) (the yearbook situation and after that a boy from my class messaged me calling me a fat and saying how stupid i was) (i was really goth and once when i came to school the guys saw my outfit and asked if it was a spirit day then spent the rest of class looking nd laughing at me) (sure they didn’t explicitly say a lot to me but the looks and the laughs …)

i think ‘in’ works so much better as an all-girl number instead of what the revival did of making it like, all the kids. like the original song is very obviously about what it’s like to be a teenage girl (“bought the clothes, did my nose, god i’ve followed every rule!” “shame on you, shame on you, overweight’s a sin”, etc) it’s literally a group of teenage girls singing about how hard being a girl is and the revival removed a lot of the commentary on that in place for how hard it is to be a teen in general
