Hello, wyrmlings!

I’m ScrollWyrm! You can call me any version of my username. I call my mutuals, followers, and general internet friends my β€˜wyrmlings’ because it’s funny. That’s right, I am the elder wyrm of the scrolls, here to guide you in treacherous times!

I use any pronouns, I’m genderfluid and I’m asexual. I’m also a minor. This is a Wings of Fire blog, where I mostly post art, theories, headcanons, fanfic, and general silliness! If you just want to hang out without the WoF content, I have an alt for just messing around: @mothusingtheinternet.

My requests are usually open, although I think the ask button may be stuck on β€˜closed’. I’m happy to do requests for dragon (not just WoF) OC art, occasionally fanfiction, and just to chat if you want, though I’ll probably tag it as β€˜not WoF’, just because! This isn’t a role play blog, but if you have questions for my OCs, I’ll do my best to answer in character!

I’ve drawn and published one PMV on YouTube, under the same username as I have here on this wonderful hellsite, and I’m trying so hard to do more, if only it would stop compressing my files. Some of us are trying to animate here, internet!

I often wonder just how radical tribal loyalty is in Phyrria. Especially during the War of Sandwing Succession.

Webs threw himself on the mercy of a Queen he betrayed that was infamous for executing those that failed her on the chance that he'd be let back into his tribe.

The Scorpion Den received the same importance on the map as a royal palace purely by the strangeness of being a place multiple tribes co-existed.

No matter how much Deathbringer disagreed with his orders when faced with the threat of exile were he to disobey the assassin kept his mouth (mostly) shut and got to work.

Nearly every dragon the Dragonets of Destiny came across mentioned how weird the they are in their affection for one another as though inter-tribal bonds were a truly alien idea.

Maybe the real reason Dune didn't tell Sunny the cure for Sandwing venom and Webs didn't teach Tsunami Aquatic was because even though the guardians had forsaken their tribes to work for the Talons of Peace they still couldn't bear the thought of potentially leaking a tribal secret.

Maybe the reason not a single dragon even suspected that Sunny might be a hybrid in spite of how obviously different she looked was because hybrids truly are that rare in a continent dominated by tribal fanaticism.
