while waiting for the meeting to start he decided to send these photos he took earlier. no caption nothing just these. and when you don't immediately reply he sent a text asking if you're okay and you just "yeah, totally fine over here mingi. 🙂" and he just chuckled to himself and only then he realised he was amongst other people and cleared his throat. he proceeded to reply with a "can't wait to see you later, princess. I'll keep this outfit on for you. ☺️" and you had to control yourself from screaming right there and then or else you'd have to explain the reason why you're losing you're mind. Mingi on the other hand knew that your silence meant that he did it once again.

the type to act all nerdy and clumsy in front of the class but when they're alone with you things go differently. those shy smiles and big frame glasses were all for show. they would sit on either side of you when you're grouped together for a project or task. you didn't put much thought to it but started noticing subtle signs as time goes by.

Hongjoong would casually hold your hand that was writing and guide it to a part he thinks needed some correction. He could point it but no, he would place his palm over your hand and guide them. Mingi would lean in from the other side to hear what both of you were talking about. His presence made you hyper aware and he seemed to not care that he was invading your personal space. He would nod from time to time and do things out of nowhere like fixing your hair, pinching your sweater sleeves, and resting his arm on the back of your chair.

The contrast in their voices and the way the spoke never ceased to surprise you. Mingi has a deeper voice but has an almost needy tone to it when he talks. Hongjoong was the opposite, his voice was higher but the words sounded so firm and commanding when he spoke.

"You're not focusing anymore. Are we distracting you?" Hongjoong chuckled as he watched you reread the same line for the fourth time.

"Maybe we should stop for now and do something else, hmm?" Mingi took away your pen and tilted his head to look at your face. You knew this was going to be a long day.
