Fluffy daytime thoughts #78: While you're cooking in the kitchen, noah comes up behind you and gives you a back hug, his hands around your waist and his chin on top of your head, you smile and ask him how his day was, he simply replies it was long, when you try to get back to cooking, noah tightens his arms and pulls you back to him, you say his name out of concern but noah simply shakes his head and moves his face into the slope of your neck, asking for a little bit longer, you nod and hold his arms as he lets out a sigh
🥺🥺🥺 then maybe he holds onto you as you finish cooking dinner. you stir the pot with one hand and touch his arm with the other. you ask him if he's okay but he tells you that he's fine, just tired. after dinner, you decide to be extra attentive to him. you set up a bath for him and sit outside the tub while he sits in the warm water. you wash his hair and whisper sweet things into his ear to calm him down. eventually, he'll open up to you about whatever's bothering him, but for now, he needs comfort.

I think that Noah would know that he loves you for some time before he'd get the courage to say it. It would be at his place, he'd invite you for a movie night and sleepover, determined that he's going to tell you. The movie was almost ending, he'd notice that you started to fall asleep and he knew that was the moment. He'd be laying on your chest, cuddled into you, his head in the crook of your neck and you'd hear muffled "I love you". It would take a lot of persuasion to make him look up at you and say it again.
In my head Jolly is a classic gentleman and he'd do everything in the "right" order. He'd take you on a nice date, maybe dinner or a romantic walk. He'd take you for a month anniversary dinner in some private space and tell you "I love you" by the candlelit dinner.
Based on Nick's recent post of his little project and also the one he did before, I can see him making something for you. Maybe you're dating for a while and you have to leave for a week for a worktrip so he uses that time to work on a gift for you. He'd make something cute like wooden key chain in a heart shape or a picture frame with cute ornaments that you'd later use for picture of the two of you. He'd give it to you when you're back at his place, then you'd tell him about your worktrip, then you'd both admit how you missed each other and say the I love you's.
Folio being the funny and goofy guy he is, he'd just blurt it out in the most unexpected moment. Like you could be talking about the new book you just read, how good it was and he'd be listening to everything you say, but suddenly cuts you off with "I love you" and then immediately realises what did he just say and his eyes widen with shock. You're speechless and he thinks he just fucked it up. But then you smile and ask "You do?" and he tells you again.
