Now that you mention it, Vertin was gambling with Centurion in Artificial Somnambulism Picrasma candy abuse and gambling, good heaven. Vertin being formal and polite while also being a gremlin is one of my favorite depictions. She's no stranger to addictions, someone needs to supervise her smh.

Italy is important to Sonetto, we all know the significance it has on Sonetto. For Vertin to invite her to visit her hometown seems so intimate between these two (she's even coming along!!) (No way did she state that she'd sent Sonetto in a field investigation in Italy, she said "we should be able to..")
