Requin or Skull Shock | he/him ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ | MINOR KILL THE CARROT ๐Ÿ”ช๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฉธ

Intro post!!! (brace yourself for a book's worth of reading)

Hi! Here on the โœจinternetโœจ i'm gonna go by Requin (Req for short). my pronouns are he/him.

the best way to describe my gender would be bioluminescent. iโ€™m bi/pan, and im all around just kinda weird.

I have ADHD and iโ€™m possibly autistic. Iโ€™m generally unstable in the head.

I dress in a sort of combo of emo, goth, and grunge, and usually pretty masc or androgynous.

iโ€™m 16, so donโ€™t be weird and gross like that.

I have a few side blogs! art: @ididacreativeithink DIY projects: @diy-and-dye

DNI: queerphobes, transphobes, MAPs, TERFs, fascists, hateful people, ableists, classists, just a bigot in general, etc. basically, if you don't fully support all human rights, get out. general assholes, dickheads, and pieces of shit will be blocked. if youโ€™re just generally annoying, you will be blocked. again, i'm a minor. adults cool to rb/like/comment/send asks but please don't message me if you're 18+

please be nice :)

in greece, there's a lot of ancient words carved in ancient stone that have survived thousands of years, and it made me think that setting things in stone is ridiculous. why would you want to make something so permanent that someone two thousand years from now can study your experience and know exactly what you were like at a specific moment in time, only for you to have changed immediately after?

if we're never stagnant, should we even be taking records? or is it the other way around? if we're in a state of constant change, should we take notes of anything and everything so nothing is ever forgotten or no perspective is ever overlooked? what is the point of all this anyways if not to change? even nature itself has made it clear that nothing can be stationary forever; trees change their leaves every year, lakes fill and dry out, huge plains of land can go from an ocean to a desert. nothing is ever the same, no matter how hard you try to keep it intact. even things like photographs, which are meant to capture a moment of the past change. physical ones fade and yellow with age, and digital ones get lost in the endless stream of new tiny squares on your screen. and eventually, even those ancient greek writings of heroes and gods and freed slaves and farmers will be weathered off the face of the stone they've belonged to for two thousand years.

we're just here to watch the change unfold like a new young moth drying and spreading its wings for the first time

a wyvern is a dragon with two legs and two wings

birds are related to dinosaurs

dinosaurs are pretty much dragons

birds are wyverns

Under the "has cleared its orbital neighborhood" and "fuses hydrogen into helium" definitions, thanks to human activities Earth technically no longer qualifies as a planet but DOES count as a star.

if you're not obsessed with anything weird and niche please try harder. stop going outside for a while. consider getting weirder about the things you already like

Alternatively, go outside so hard that your primary companions are various soil invertebrates

donโ€™t talk to ME about gay yearning. in 2020 during lockdown i lived alone on a boat for three months. i went ashore once a day to work in a marine bio lab. we all had to access the lab at different times so we were never together & risking infection. i was alone all day every day, from my boat to the lab and back to my boat. one day a woman anchored her boat beside mine. we passed each other ashore just once at the harbor and she hit on me and invited me back to her boat. i told her iโ€™d love nothing more but i could not risk exposure because of my weak immune system. she said it was a shame but that she understood. that night i was watering my vegetable garden i grew in 5 gallon buckets up on my roof and playing music on my speaker. โ€œamerican pieโ€ came on and she climbed up on her roof and shouted all the lyrics to every verse at me across the water and we danced together on our respective roofs. she raised anchor and moved on a few days later.

so yeah i know what it is to die a thousand deaths in an instant while your heart beats on.
