How’s your friends fiancé and grandma? Sorry if this is too invasive, I just wanted to check up!

My grandma is okay. She just has a big knot on the back of her head and was possibly concussed, but other than that she’s pretty much back to how she was before that.

My friend’s fiance is also ok. He woke up and from the few updates she’s given he’s alright, though he has got some slight memory problems.

Very excited for the fic I’m working on right now!

I’ve got 3 chapters completed, and I’m not sure just how long it’s going to be yet, but I’m hoping only a couple more, and I’ll get them all written and edited before I start posting it

Update: I finally just finished the 4th chapter, still have more to come, but the progress is unfortunately slow

#I’m trying to multitask my hobbies and it’s not working#plus there’s life happening too which makes writing taking a little more of a background activity

I do NOT want to get up and go to work today ☹️ very tired of the position they’ve put me in which was supposed to be a 3-week temporary thing, but is now on week like 5, and I’m just so over it

#I miss the kinda predictability of my old position#this one stresses me tf out because I literally never know how the day is gonna go#like today will be fine if I go in at 8 and nothing changes#but odds are I’m gonna go in at 7 instead just to give myself a little extra wiggle room for when a new order comes in last minute#because people never seem to fucking consider that they want catering orders until like 1 or 2 hours before they want it#like yesterday for example when someone called a few minutes after 10 to ask about getting an order delivered at 11#which would’ve been possible if they were our only order#but I already had 3 other orders due for delivery around that time#I’m also our only driver unless a manager wants to do it (and they don’t get paid gas mileage for it) which is what we were doing yesterday#bc of the 3 orders 2 of them were in the downtown area of our city and the other 1 was half an hour away out of town#which last Thursday was actually crazy with orders#and I’ve already got 2 relatively big orders today so I’m just worried another one is gonna come in#the store itself already has a couple big orders people called ahead yesterday to place because there’s a tournament in town#so they’re gonna be busy with those orders and if anything else comes in for me I won’t have the help and I’ll just be fucked
