nothing funnier to me than when AI does math wrong. like I get why it happens, it's a language model that's treating the numbers you feed it as words rather than integers and then giving you an answer based on how those words typically appear in a block of text instead of actually performing a calculation. but the one thing computers are genuinely incredible at. you fucked up a perfectly good calculator is what you did, look at it it's got hallucinations

The great thing about having friends and acquaintances across a variety of professions is to really hammer home as much as possible the fact there is literally zero correlation between the amount someone actually works, the amount they contribute to society, and how much they make in a year.

do people know that a french ex-president (nicolas sarkozy, from 2007 to 2012) is currently wearing an electronic bracelet after he was sentenced for corruption and influence peddling? do people know? i want everyone to know 😌

and that bernard squarcini, the head of internal security (DGSI) during sarkozy's presidency, just got convicted for influence peddling and has to wear an ankle bracelet for at least two years? πŸ˜ŒπŸ™

and that marine le pen, leader of the far-right party et one of the (ex)favorites for the 2027 presidential elections, has to wear an ankle bracelet for at least two years and is ineligible for five years?? πŸ˜ŒπŸ™Œβœ¨οΈ

My American ass watching other presidents face some form of consequence for wrongdoing…

They should invent a cell phone that doesn't have phone calls

You’re right about the reckless driving vs reckless biking. Getting hit and injured by a bike is a funny story because it’s so rare, still very painful but it’s unlikely you’ll die, it’s also kinda hot that a person was sweating and working so hard on their bike that they couldn’t help but hit you and now you’re in the hospital. Getting hit by a car you’re just grievously injured at best or dead at worst and there’s not even a fun story because it happens all the time and there’s no homoeroticism at all to getting your femur shattered by the soulless frame of a Nissan. I swear I’m normal.

Agree 100%, thank you! Once we sort out the reckless driving and farting and such, then maybe talk about bikes. But we need to focus on where the real problem is
