Does anyone have any good THIRD PERSON horror short stories?

I am looking for good THIRD PERSON horror short stories. Not second, not first. I want THIRD PERSON!!!

Sorry to put so much emphasis on that, but I do not want to be told "well, it's actually second/first person but--" because I can throw a stone and find a thousand.

I want THIRD PERSON horror short story recommendations! Original works are best, especially by aspiring authors! Published and well-known authors and works are welcomed, too, of course, but only if they are written in THIRD PERSON!!!!

(If you are unsure what third person is, I am looking for works that are not told to us using "I" or "you" (first and second respectively) I want works that are told to us from the perspective of the characters without the characters telling us the story themselves.

A Short Ask List About Love.

  1. Does your OC have any difficulty distinguishing between love and lust?
  2. Is your OC at all romantic themselves? Or is romance something they expect others to perform for their benefit?
  3. What does your OC look for in a romantic (or perhaps purely sexual) partner? Is this always healthy?
  4. Does your OC consider themselves to be attractive? Do they put much effort into achieving this?
  5. Would your OC ever take advantage of someone's romantic feelings in order to manipulate them?
  6. Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?
  7. What is the most romantic gesture your OC has ever performed? Alternatively (or additionally), what romantic gesture would they most like to perform?
  8. Does your OC pursue only monogamous relationships? Or are they open to other, more creative, options?
  9. If your OC were ever to fill out a Dating Site (or pamphlet or newspaper) profile, then what would they include?
  10. Does your OC have a type? Have they ever been surprised by their feelings for someone who doesn't fit this?
  11. Has your OC ever been the object of someone's affections that they did not (or could not) reciprocate?
  12. If your OC were in love, how might they recognise this? Or would they be too much in denial?
  13. Has your OC ever written a love letter (or text message or whatever the case may be)? Perhaps they have even composed a love poem or song dedicated to their beloved?
  14. If they wish to impress someone for whom they have romantic (or at least sexual) feelings, does your OC attempt to present themselves as more confident, wealthy, popular or otherwise impressive, than they truly are?
  15. Is your OC easy to love? If not, then what are the barriers?

WIP Merch Tag

Many thanks to @dogmomwrites for the tag!

I want to tag @sender-paulson (like you didn't already know it was coming), @enne-uni, @aether-wasteland-s, and anyone else who wants to join in!

The rules are simple: design or describe a single piece of merchandise for your WIP!

The thing is, I've not only been doing it for years, I actually own a piece of my own merchandise already 😅

It's my Lunar Inn hoodie (the Lunar Inn being the place my main character lives) along with the name of the fictional town where my story takes place!

I made it using customink, but I do wonder if there are cheaper places to get it done.

There are so many ways to make moodboards, bookcovers, and icons without plagiarizing! As artists, authors, and other creatives, we need to be especially careful not to use someone else’s work and pass it off as our own. 

Please add on if you know any more resources for free images <3

recently found out about openverse which i think aggregates a bunch of creative commons images from flickr, wikimedia, nasa etc… pretty handy

It’s full of searchable, rights free images uploaded by photographers.
