How Leonarda became Leonardo (kinda)

I think something important to bring up to counter the defeatist attitude I’ve seen going around of “give up AI is inevitably going to take your art jobs” is a lack of awareness in the people making these claims. Most of them seem to not be in any sort of creative industry.

So here’s the thing. I work as a professional artist at a studio that regularly accepts art submissions from freelancers… and we REFUSE to use AI generated imagery. It’s even stated in our contracts and legal agreements.

We will not be taken advantage of by paying hundreds of dollars to AI prompters who use legally questionable means to “create” their submissions.

While many of us in the studio find AI to be ethically unsound, at the end of the day… it’s because AI is literally a LIABILITY. Avoiding it now will save us a lot of trouble and legal drama down the line.

It’s just common sense.

Honestly just imagined that an 18 hour shift at the mailing-fries-in-envelopes factory must have been grueling.

It's gonna be one hectic Spring this year for us Midwesterns, so I pray that you all stay safe

Theres already been a handful of major storm events this year and as we go deeper into both spring and storm season that number is only gonna get higher.

For my Southern + Midwestern buddies-

Remember to keep drinking water, flashlights + batteries, stuff like canned food and any necessary supplies just in case you find yourself without power!

Basements and storm shelters are your friends! If you dont have one, your next place is the bathtub + anything you can use to cover yourself

If you're on the road and need to take cover, underpasses are awful to hide under. Your better bet is to hide in a ditch/ravine

And if you're at work or just dont have a weather radio, there's websites that you can get streaming for weather broadcasts! I use them all the time to help keep track of more severe storms

The NWS has some pretty solid tips on tornado safety so Id go ahead and check their site out

Or you use a plastic/silicon spatula?? Or a silicon whisk?? go to literally any dollar store they have shitty plastic/silicon kitchen utensils you can scramble eggs with without scratching up your pans

Splinter is really hard to say when he is sometimes a good father and teacher but at the same time a bad person. Maybe because he always blames and resents himself for the sins that caused the Hamato family to be destroyed... and his wife... and his child he could have all lost their lives.
