as a former escape room host i highly recommend doing an escape room as a first date. its a great way to learn how ppl react under pressure and how well they collaborate with you right off the bat. also more than once ive seen people enter an escape room as a couple and exit broken up LOL its a fantastic litmus test

sorry to broadcast ur tags but this is also a valuable part of the litmus test! it seems like you learned a lot about how this person makes you feel in their social group. they didn't go out of their way to include you, and neither did their friends. therefore you can come to a pretty good conclusion about how you might feel being part of their life outside of an escape room; someone who doesnt include you or your feelings in a game is likely going to do the same in other situations

u go to read manhwa / manga. the review score is high. u decide to read it bc it looks interesting. you get a few chapters in. and then you realize it’s only rated high because it has good art and is ‘wholesome’. nothingburger plot. bad writing. no chemistry between the characters. you exit out deeply disappointed.

u go to read a manhwa / manga. it has a low score. u read the description and notice it seems to have a lot of heavy and taboo themes. u read out of curiosity. the writing is incredibly good. the story is emotionally poignant and hits every story beat. you realize it’s only scored this low because it has such themes, even when the art is good. you finish it deeply disappointed by the unreliability of reviews

people refuse to understand the concept of "this isn't important to me but i understand why it might be important to other people"

or hell you dont even have to 'understand' or get it or agree with it you just need to understand that certain things you dont care about or dont matter to you are important to others. and you're not necessarily better or more correct for not caring

I have almost no ideas AND I CANT VISIT WELCOME HOME SITE TO GET INSPIRATION oh no!!! But omg how much i love drawing muppets just for fun

some doodles i made for fun to make sure i still remember how to draw them <3

I think being afraid of becoming 25 can be combated by like literally hanging out w people of all age groups and realizing that they too have personalities and hopes and dreams and goals and life is not over for you at like 30

I am so inspired by my doctor employer’s wife who’s 52 but took up running as recently as 5 years ago and is now the fittest she’s ever been …… like looking at her I always thought she grew up this way but she decided to make this lifestyle change arbitrarily in her 40s and it literally worked great for her like there is no limit on deciding when to change something

Also realizing that the domestic route is outdated too and women are doing literally WHATEVER they want rn is so freeing…. Idgaf ab celebrities but it’s still nice seeing the new artists popping up being 25 and up bc for your early 20s to be your peak is SO sad like it’s peaking in hs but repackaged we need to get a grip

Also incredibly inspired by all the whimsical & fit patients I see. Saw a 82 year old LADY today who could easily pass for 50 and was telling me all about the new trainer she’s working w now, and it’s helping her go to the gym more. And she literally gossiped to me about how cute he was . Also cannot forget about the patient I saw today too who’s a PA and told me not to worry about age bc he literally went to school at 40 and changed his whole life. Hes 72 and so funny and spry like I used to dread reaching those ages but looking at those ppl and how healthy and happy they are I know its so possible

Shoutout to ppl 25 to 35 who are seeing all the people around them give up bc they feel “too old” to try anything new btw …… like you inspire me SO much bc of you I have sm to look forward to
