Hi, I’m Evan! Im a digital artist, animator and creator of the independent animated pilot Lumi and the Great Big Galaxy. I draw all kinds of goofy art, and am currently looking for work! Please feel free to explore my work below!

I also have commissions open where you can support me! ☕️❤️

Thank you for visiting!

gentle reminder you can rise up from everything. you can recreate yourself. nothing is permanent. you are not stuck. you have choices. you can think new thoughts. you can learn something new. you can create new habits. all that matters is that you decide today and never look back.

Since Lumi most likely won't be a full animated series any time soon, do you have any other plans for it? Or are you thinking of moving on to other projects?

As of right now, I’ll most likely be putting it on pause and moving on. I was initially thinking of making Lumi a webcomic, but with how I’ve been struggling with the series as a whole I’d much prefer to take some time away from it.

IT... IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME!!! OUR SHARED MUTUAL SHOULD HAVE REBLOGGED THAT POST FROM ME!!!!!!!! IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME!!!!!!!!

some of you think ‘nuanced’ only means ‘morally grey’ and I’m here to tell you that actually straight up good characters can still be nuanced and unapologetically evil characters can still be nuanced. the character doesn’t have to be an anti hero or morally dubious to have depth. they don’t even have to feel sorry about their crimes to have depth.

No no you don't understand! I want to watch this show/movie, read this book, listen to this podcast, etc.! But I must be in the right mindset and the exact head space to begin, or I just can't!

I'm not ALLOWED to enjoy it yet, I'm not ALLOWED!!!

Fandom terms have to sound silly, like blorbo or squick, because fandom needs humbling. Not a lot. But just every so often you need a good grounding reminder that all of this is literally made up nonsense for fun.

If you take a fictional thing so seriously that silly words genuinely annoy you, you've gone too far and you need to dial it back.

if you could have any dream collabs/crossovers you'd want to do (animated or comic), who would you like to do it with?

I’d love to do something with Monkey Wrench one day! I’ve always loved the idea that shows taking place in space are spread throughout many different galaxies. I think it’d be fun to see the Lumi ensemble and Shrike and Beebs bounce off one another!

Miss Piggy’s Treasury of Art Masterpieces from the Kermitage Collection is a picture book featuring sixteen (minus the “The Birth of Venus” parody) different muppet parodies of famous artwork, edited by Henry Beard and illustrated by John E. Barrett, and published by Holt, Rinehart and Winston in 1984.
A majority of the illustrations were originally from the Miss Piggy’s Art Masterpiece Calendar which were all reprinted with commentary from Miss Piggy herself and new additions that expanded on the “Kermitage Collection” from the calendar.

illustrations continued:

Henri Rousseau. The Sleepy Zootsy.
Rembrant van Rijn. Arisfroggle Contemplating the Bust of a Twerp.
Jan Vermeer. Young Lady Adorning Herself with Pearls (and Why Not?).
Grant Wood. American Gothique.
Pablo Picasso. Pig Before a Mirror.
