I'm reading 'Josephine And The Argonauts' and Jo says this:

' "Didn't he serve in Greece during the war?..." ' when talking about the Brigadier. I just couldn't help myself and had to some age calculations. Yeah his dating is fucked up, but i always go with his birth year being 1929 (there's a small range on the wiki from 1929-32 BUT I HOPE ITS 1929). Britain sent troops into Greece in 1941 and 1944.... if it was 1941, Alistair would have been TWELVE, and if it was 1944, he would have been fifteen (or fourteen or twelve).

This was actually covered in the book Deadly Reunion, the first part of which he was stationed in Greece at the end of World War 2. He fell in love with Persephone and helped her defeat Hades before she wiped his memory of it using the River Lethe

this means he cant have been older than 16 when he fell in love with Persephone.....
