it is such a surreal feeling to relisten to taz balance in 2025. back when i first listened in 2018 i knew next to nothing about dnd and i looked up to griffin, especially in that first episode when he's explaining how to play the game, because he just knew so much about it. now i'm 23, i've been playing dnd and dming for seven years, and i know so much more about dnd then i did back then. listening to their first combat encounter in ep 1 and griff goes "sorry guys, i've never done this before" is so endearing because i've been in his EXACT shoes before, i get it.
