Riverdale, an idyllic little town in Vermont. It’s got everything small minds dream of. From the little corner store where everyone is friends with the owner and her cat to the diner at the edge of town where everyone will hang their hats after a long day, and the perfect little houses surrounded by perfect little lawns filled with the perfect little families inside their walls. There’s only one problem with Riverdale. It’s lying. After the murder of Jason Blossom, the lying was finally discovered. Roses finally showed their thorns, Snakes could no longer shed their skin and Bones, long forgotten, were dug up. Something in the air has changed. You can feel it whenever you take a breath. Riverdale has always smelled like maple trees and must, but now, there’s something else and everyone is afraid to name it. But they know what it is and they are afraid. Riverdale, an idyllic little town in Vermont. It somehow always stays the same. It breathes life into the trees and the feelings of madness. It’s the place where people dream of living. It’s the place where people move into homes recycled down throughout the 75 years Riverdale has been here. Riverdale is home. Riverdale is where all the happy families live. Something lurks in the mist of Sweetwater River. Something evil. Something living. Riverdale is the place they can never leave.
