ive been alone in the house for the past week (goulash aside) and it's far from the first time this has been the case for any length of time but something about this instance of it, probably the fact that i have a cat to talk to so i'm already kind of used to talking into the void, has exponentially increased the amount of which i talk to myself. which, to be clear, has already been something that i do. and i'm just reminded of my belothed horrible awful evil mean asshole dickhead scriptwriting teacher from my first year in college who was like 'stop having your characters talk to themselves, people don't do that in real life' and i think he was just pointing out a scriptwriting cliche that is kinda cheesy and overdone but he was doing it in a very generalizing and unhelpful and mean spirited way like he did everything, and half of us were like 'idk, i do that all the time'. anyway.
