My name is Naser, and war has taken everything from meโmy mother, my sister, my home, and the life I once knew. In an instant, my world was shattered, leaving behind nothing but memories and the weight of loss.
But even in the darkest moments, I refuse to give up. Because amidst the pain, I still have something worth fighting forโmy three younger brothers.
๐น One dreams of becoming a doctor, to heal others so they donโt have to endure the pain weโve faced. ๐น Another aspires to be an engineer, hoping to one day rebuild what war has destroyed. ๐น And the youngest? He doesnโt have big dreams yetโhe just wants to be a kid again, to wake up in a home that feels safe, to play without fear.
But how do you rebuild a life when thereโs nothing left to start with?
๐ก We Need a Home. We Need Education. We Need Hope. Right now, we are not just fighting for survivalโwe are fighting for the chance to live, to grow, to dream again. We are fighting for a future where my brothers can become the doctor, the engineer, the child who gets to have a childhood.
๐ This is where you come in. Iโm not asking for muchโjust a chance. A chance to rebuild, to give my brothers a future beyond war.
Your support, whether through a donation or simply sharing our story, can make all the difference. Even the smallest act of kindness can create ripples of change.
๐ Will you help us rebuild? Together, we can prove that war doesnโt get the final wordโhope does. Thank you for standing with us. ๐โจ
wait wait wait mutuals rb this with a description of ur voice
Hi, my name is Mosab , and Iโm from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today Iโm sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasnโt been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from usโ25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their loveโฆ all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.
Our Journey So Far
When I first reached out, I couldnโt have imagined weโd make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, weโre reminded of how much weโve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Hereโs what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
๐ Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
๐ข Loss: The absence of the 25 family members weโve lost is a pain we carry every moment.
๐ Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isnโt just about helping us meet our goalโitโs about reminding us that weโre not alone in this fight. Itโs about hope. Itโs about survival. And itโs about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, Iโm endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Mosab and Family โค๏ธ
Stop putting vaspider on my dash, they're the one who kicked off the hysteria against Palestinian gofundme's leading to people taking back thousands of dollars they've donated and reporting their fundraisers as fraudulent, potentially dooming families to death
iโve successfully evaded bad jokes by jeff/writing prompts/drawing prompts for a while i think but just in case heโs still lurking out there he majorly contributed to this too and made a ton of really racist/islamophobic posts
This is especially relevant now that staff deactivated Ahmed aka 90s-ghost's blog, and more than a years life-saving work he did verifying fellow Palestinian's fundraisers.
Ahmed's been on tumblr for more than a decade, has had a news article written about him, been in fandoms, has many close friends on here, etc etc....he's a real human being that tumblr staff very much knows is a real person. Vaspider and Badjokesbyjeff are absolutely responsible for directing organized harassment and mass reporting his way, and staff are going to get Palestinians killed by deactivating 90s-ghost.
He's kept so many people alive this past year through tumblr, and deactivating his account cuts off hundreds of families from their best hope of raising desperately needed funds for survival supplies as Israel bombs Palestine. Ahmed himself is trying to keep his own family, including a baby, alive too - you can donate to him here. Info on demanding staff reactivate his account here.
Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I donโt usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.
I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home ๐ก. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasnโt always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.
Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I lovedโsome of them are gone forever. ๐
I am Hazem Shawish, and I am trying to save my family from this war.
We live in Gaza, where we face significant challenges due to the current situation.
My family consists of 11 members, including my mother, two daughters, four sons, and three children.
The Israeli Zionist occupation violated the ceasefire and launched airstrikes on populated areas. Rocket shrapnel hit our tent today, injuring my wife and two of my children. The truce has ended, and we are once again living in fear of war, killing, and death. Unfortunately, no one cares about what's happening to us. Israel has been committing a massacre since yesterday morning, claiming the lives of more than 500 people.
