I'm only saying this for your sake, but objectively, it's not a smart idea to bring politics into normal hobbies. You might lose supporters of your blog just because of your political stance, and that would be terrible since you're so amazing!! It's only a suggestion, but I really reccomend not bringing politics into anything.

rachel zegler is so much better than me because if i had to work with a literal war criminal who can't act for shit and a movie that used cgi dwarves and had a poorly written script and then was blamed for the failure of the movie because i had the guts to say free palestine despite being the only saving grace of the film, i would 100% crash out

Idk if anyone here remembers back in 2021 when I had somehow managed to become besties with the cast of The Irregulars [read: they interacted with my instagram posts a bunch of times incl. DMs]

I must have some lucky spell surrounding these people coz yesterday I went to see the production of Richard II in London. I went to check out the stage door before the show just to locate it, just to find out they dont do signing bc of the inconvenient location of the door, but as I was reading this notice, who walks by but none other than former Dr Watson himself, Royce Pierreson.

I was stunned and absolutely confused and awkward, coz eventho it was literally his entrance to work I somehow did not expect any cast members to walk by as I randomly happened to be there too.

We exchanged a quick "you alright", I wished him luck in the show and that was that.

Anyway, it just made me think of 2021.

your favorite actor is not immune to being in a propaganda film, no matter where they are from or who they are. at least one (if not two or more) of the actors in anora were in russian propaganda films. kit connor, will poulter, d’pharaoh woon-a-tai, and joseph quinn are now starring in an american propaganda film. alexander skarsgård previously starred in an american propaganda tv show.

People will say that these types of films are not war propaganda because they don’t show war in a positive way. This is not the point.

War propaganda paints the aggressors as the victims. It aims to justify and even glorify war crimes in the name of nationalism.

I could go on but I don’t want to detract from OP’s point. Please just take a moment and reflect on why you’re willing to give this movie and its actors a free pass.

Hollywood has been the propaganda arm of the military since WW2. If there's even mention of military in the script, it's been approved of and funded by them with vanishingly few exceptions. This goes for tv shows too.
