What other people don't understand is that nobody likes how the execution of timber was handled more than the shippers ourselves. Like seriously. Y'all think we wanted to slam Steph into the pavement for Bernard to stand in her place? Are ya under the impression that we marched up to DC said 'hey bring back the blonde conspiracy theorist and make him date Tim and also have Tim break up with Stephanie off panel all in one comic'?
Heck no, we did not. But we accepted it, decided that it was a bit fast but whatever, that's nothing new. This is not the first (nor will it likely be the last) time that Tim broke up with Steph and then later went on to date another person.
Is that sucky? Yes. Is that a new thing? Absolutely not. I was a big as timsteph shipper as the rest, but these are fictional characters and I am a fickle fickle girl. He's happy with his current bf and I'm happy for him. Hopefully in comics to come DC will actually do something with him and build upon their relationship so y'all can finally see him have the 'personality' you all say he lacks.
In short, hate not the sin (poor execution) but instead the sinner theirself (the executionist.)
Jason: *Walks into the living room and finds Dick crying and Tim stressed tf out*
Dick, sobbing: "We've ruined Alfred's birthday!"
Tim: "This is literally your fault, Dick! Learn to fucking spell!"
Jason: "Should I even ask?"
Tim points to many balloons, spelling 'HAPPY BIRTHDA'
Dick: *sniff* "I forgot a balloon.."
Jason: *Cracks knuckles* "Don't worry guys, I got this."
