↠ after surviving on your own for nearly 4 years, bouncing from place to place and group to group, you stumble across another survivor named kim taehyung. but not all is easy, nor friendly.

You groaned as you had been in this position one too many times. You slowly raised your hands in defeat as you pushed yourself up off the floor.
Without turning around to face your probably soon demise, you tried to explain yourself.
“L-look.. I didn’t know someone was here.. I’ll give them back.. but please just let me leave then..” You tried to persuade but you had a feeling this person didn’t give a shit for your reasoning.
“Turn around.” They ordered.
You could tell it was a male from his low voice, probably a bit older than you as well.
You shuddered as you slowly pivoted your body to turn and face the man threatening your life. You imagined him to be some blood stained bearded monster, but as he came into view he was nothing like that..
The first thing you noticed right from the get go was the height difference.
You had to have landed right about chest height next to him which only made you feel smaller and more threatened. He had light brown hair with a few darker brown streaks running through it.
His eyes were a dark brown and he had a semi-large scar running over the bridge of his nose.
He wore a black jacket with holes in the sleeves, a grey shirt underneath, and some beaten up jeans tucked into combat boots.
He looked relatively clean though.. and well fed..
You wondered just how long he managed to stay here or stay in good condition so well. He truly looked rags to riches compared to you.
You had your bangs pulled back into a small ponytail atop your head, a red hooded jacket with countless dirt and blood stains, skinny jeans that were ripped or torn at just about any crease, and now his new boots on your feet.
“You were saying…?” He mocks as he nears you with the gun still tight in his grip. The loud sound of his shoes creaking the wooden floor being the only sound present.
You slowly begin to back away from his figure, fearing for the worst, as you smacked your back against the dresser pushed up against the wall in the process.
You let out a small whine as the wood corner dug into your side.
“P-please I told you I’d leave.. I’m not trying to hurt you or do anything, I’m-“ A shatter of glass coming from what seemed like the next room over, shut you up.
The man furrowed his brows and immediately stomped towards you taking hold of your wrist.
“Is that your group..? You think I’m stupid..?!” He hisses in your face.
You can see the panic written all over his face, but to be frank, you’re just as scared shitless as he is.
“No.. I don’t.. I don’t have a group…” You were breathing heavily, eyeing the door. Scared that whoever or whatever just broke the window was coming for you both next.
He watched your presence carefully, trying to detect if you were telling the truth or leading him into a death trap. It could’ve been one of two things.
Your group, or walkers. Either way, to him it seemed he had the upper hand if that was your group.
“Follow me. Don’t make a sound or try and run. I will shoot you.” He snapped.
You complied out of fear and walked slowly behind him, the grip he had on your wrist starting to now hurt.
You slowly ventured near the door and he stuck his head out slowly, checking to see if the hallway was clear before quickly moving down the hall to another room near the back door of the house.
He was so on edge he didn’t notice the death grip he had on your wrist now. He was ready to make a left and run out the door when a group of voices haunted him.
“This place looks like it hasn’t been touched in years!” A voice boomed from inside the house now. It sounded like the living room where you had left your bag. You mentally cursed to yourself for not bringing it with you.
“Looks like we found our spot for the night boys!” They continued to holler. Taehyung turned to look back at you, but you were just as dumbfounded.
He must’ve forgotten he was still holding your wrist as he seemed to be completely unfazed as you winced.
Pain began to spread up your arm, the skin under his fingers turning purple.
“Can you let go please.. it hurts..” You whispered as he shoved you behind him, sticking his head out trying to pinpoint the source of the voices now.
“Hey..” You tried to pull your wrist away but it barely budged. You could hear footsteps moving across the wooden floor out in the hallway and that seemed to tick Taehyung off bc the grip only got tighter and his nails dug into the skin.
You couldn’t help it anymore and let out a yelp.
Taehyung whipped around immediately, covering your mouth with his free hand.
“Please! Let go!” You mumbled against his hand, watching as his eyes followed down to your wrist.
Once he saw the damage and discoloration he was causing, he immediately let go.
“Oh.. I’m sorry.. I didn’t..” You watched as he blanked out and stared at your wrist, almost afraid of what he had done to it. However, it was too late and your eyes wide ded as you heard footsteps right near the door.
Within seconds of turning the corner, the intruder saw you both and his gun flew up.
