let's go over what we see in the season 27 trailer!!! <3

so first off the background animation is very detailed especially in the first two frames we see

second, a discordant minor key cover of blame canada plays over the trailer which, is haunting and also incredibly relevant in 2025. same as it ever was!

I immediately noticed the cinematic wicked poster in shelley's room, a reference to broadway bro down? or maybe she's just a fan of musicals? and the little touches she added to her room to make it her own space, I wonder if the polaroids hung with the fairy lights are pictures she took herself? randy I hate you why are you offering ketamine to your 13 year old daughter she doesn't want that

plane crashes! a lot of them!

this is just another example of what I mean by the animation being highly detailed, they're gonna get a mileage out of these explosions I can tell you that much

this is very early south park to me the town's being destroyed and they don't care this is regular to them

they're still at that fuck ass weed farm!!! the town is burning but tegridy farms is still standing!! when will the marshes move back to their old house!!!

cartman livestreaming himself during an abortion, cartman has always been pro abortion in the series, I don't know if that lady is still the mom of new kid from the games or if they're just reusing the character design and she's just a random extra

I'm curious why the font for the title looks like this

aaaaa I didn't forget!! yes!! chicken kyle!! the image that launched a thousand fanarts, yes I see them <3 okay at first I thought this was chicken pox but no, they already did a chicken pox episode in the earlier seasons, in that episode all the boys got chicken pox except kyle who usually gets sick the easiest out of the main 4 and the episode ends with kyle getting chicken pox

it looks like it's the inverse this time, with the rest of the boys unaffected while kyle is the only one who is sick, now it's not chicken pox, I think they're referencing the current bird flu (chicken + being sick) with kyle, how the chickens are sick and how that and other things are affecting the prices of eggs, so that's what this is a reference to, the chickens getting sick, not sure how this body horror that's happening will be explained in the show! is he going to turn into a chicken if the boys don't find a cure? imagine being sick AND turning into a chicken! and he's molting! I like how it's kyle though not because of kyle torture reasons but because canonically kyle is the sickliest of the boys, he gets sick so much more easily compared to the others so of course he's gonna be the one to go through this and I love how concerned his friends are and I love that we get to see his dark red hair!!! but yes okay I'm excited for the new season!!!!!
