It's not only that we don't care, it's lowkey Xtremely Rooted in racism. Season 1 is so beautiful because of the insanely talented ensemble cast who are all inhabiting deliciously refreshing complex characters. Many of these characters are played by Black and Latin actors we all know deeply appreciated the opportunity to play something other than a thin, tired stereotype.

Seasons 3 & 4 not only move so far away from those characters, but they seem to veryyyyy deliberately center these incredibly uninteresting, insanely frustrating white characters that bring nothing to the enjoyment of this show. I'm so tired of hearing Storer try and justify these seasons feeling so b.o.r.i.n.g. and traumatizingly off point by pretending they're symbolic of how stuck Carmy is in his grief/motivation/life in general. Carmy isn't supposed to be stuck, he isn't supposed to be seen as an entire piece of shit who can't get it together, he demonstrates tremendous growth in Season 1 because of the way he is able to inspire and be inspired by the original cast of characters in the show. He is not supposed to have a 29 minute "This is Us" style sentimental bullshit ass conversation under a table with a dozen irrelevant characters, he's supposed to be cooking, creating, inspiring, stumbling and healing with his real family: the people who held him through those months of beauty & drowning at The Beef.

Exactly. The only Fak we should of had was Neil, even though I hate him, because he was there from the get go. I don’t care about Francine Fak. I don’t care about the new sandwich man and spooky who’s in prison now. I don’t care! I care about Ebra, Tina, Marcus, Sweeps, Richie, Carm, and Syd. I don’t want more side characters! I do not care about Ted and Kelly!! Why are they getting any screen time at all???
