#I have recently determined that one of my cats knows how to open doors#However this would NOT work because he explicitly only tries to do it when he thinks he's not being observed#Like if I close a door while he knows I can see him he will simply Scream until I open it#Had to get into bed with the lights off before he did this in my presence#And even THEN he meowed several times to see if I was awake#But then TODAY I left the room and shut him in on accident#Opens the dang thing in under two minutes#And then when I go back and SEE him through the crack#He just stares at me and waits for me to open it wide enough for him to get through#Eventually he decided I was taking too long#Absolute nonsense

Isekai except the fantasy world is literally just like a ten minute hike away from everything else and has just explicitly never been found.

pirates of the caribbean really introduced an eldritch octopus man who kills indiscriminately and torments the dead as their poster villain and then you watch the movies and it's like, "oh no, actually the worst villain in this series is a small white british man who functions as the herald of capitalism" and that was very very brave of them
