room(hate) | L.JN (M) — part II

SYNOPSIS: all you wanted was sleep after your long shifts at the hospital. All you needed was sleep after your long shifts at the hospital, but even that was considered a luxury in these trying times. A luxury blatantly stolen by your roommate, Jeno Lee, who seemed to have an endless line of bodies to fuck preventing you from getting at least an hour of shut eye. It was annoying. It was disrupting and you seriously hoped that Jeno's dick falls off one day.
PART I | PART II (you are here)

[AO3 link]

GENRE: roommate au, non-idol au, slice of life-ish, unrequited hate, roommates with benefits, domesticity, porn with plot, fluff, comedy, crack treated seriously.

Kiss Me, He’s Watching

fake bf!Heeseung x being stalked!reader - You kissed Heeseung to escape your stalker’s gaze—but the danger didn’t end there. One fake kiss, and suddenly everything is terrifyingly real.

Warnings: stalking, fear, explicit smut, possessive dynamics

-

The fluorescent lights of the subway car flicker overhead, casting an unflattering glow across the half-empty train. It's later than you'd usually be out on a weeknight, but your coworker's birthday drinks ran longer than expected. You check your phone: 11:43 PM. Only three more stops until home.

That's when you feel it—the unmistakable sensation of being watched.

You glance up from your phone, trying to appear casual as your eyes scan the car. And there he is. Third seat from the door. A man in his thirties, wearing a dark jacket despite the warm spring evening, staring directly at you. When your eyes meet, he doesn't look away. Instead, his lips curl into what might be considered a smile, if it weren't so utterly devoid of warmth.

You quickly look back down at your phone, heart rate accelerating. It's nothing, you tell yourself. Just another weird encounter in the city.

pjs - Signed, Sealed & Undone. - Part 2

A TIME TRAVEL CONTRACT MARRIAGE FIC PART ONE HERE

Synopsis: Fake marriage proposals are a tired billionaire trope.

But when Jay Park—former golden boy of Park Industries, now chaebol exile—comes back from disgrace (and back in time), he’s got one goal: rewrite the past before it destroys him.

When you, an unassuming journalist with nothing to lose, get an offer of a lifetime, you’re sure it’s a mistake.

A contract, a relocation to Seoul, and one fake wedding later, you’re still trying to convince yourself none of this is real. The only problem? Neither of you seem to remember where the performance ends and something devastatingly real begins.

WC: 11K CW (18+ MDNI) : fake marriage, slow-burn romance, power dynamics, corporate intrigue, arranged marriage trope, emotional angst, unresolved sexual tension, longing glances across boardrooms, contract loopholes, financial manipulation, morally gray billionaire!Jay, forced proximity, family expectations, betrayal, public displays of affection (for the cameras, obviously), enemies-to-allies-to-lovers, suppressed feelings, business politics, one bed trope (but make it corporate), dramatic confessions, late-night whiskey-fueled arguments, high society drama, backhanded compliments as flirting, dramatic departures followed by even more dramatic returns, lingering touches that mean too muchfeelings clause not included in the contract, deep intimacy, power dynamics in a romantic context, possessive tendencies (but soft), light dominance/submission themes, clothing being undone at a painfully slow pace, tension so thick it could shatter glass, breathless dialogue, interrupted kisses that lead to frustration, and the inevitable realization that this was never fake at all.

-

Your first meeting with the Parks was not what you expected.

Chairwoman Soo-min Park, Jay's mother, welcomed you in her minimalist office overlooking Seoul's skyline. Everything about the space proclaimed power—floor-to-ceiling windows, a desk carved from a single slab of marble, carefully curated art pieces that probably cost more than your entire education.

The woman herself matched her surroundings—elegant, precise, every silver-streaked hair perfectly in place. Her handshake was firm, her assessment clinical as she gestured for you to sit.

"So," she began without preamble, "you are the woman who captured my son's attention where so many have failed."

You felt Jay tense beside you. This was your first test.

"I believe we captured each other's attention, Mrs. Park," you replied evenly. "Sometimes connection happens where you least expect it."

You're late. Again.

The digital clock on your phone reads 3:10 PM as you sprint across campus, your backpack bouncing against your spine with each step. Statistics seminar started ten minutes ago, and Professor Clarke has definitely noticed your absence by now. Not that it's unusual—you've made it a habit to burst through those doors at exactly ten minutes past, a whirlwind of apologies and bright smiles.

"Sorry, sorry!" you announce as you push open the computer lab door, slightly out of breath.

Twenty pairs of eyes swivel toward you, but Professor Clarke doesn't even look up from his laptop at the front of the room.

"How kind of you to join us," he says dryly. "We were just assigning semester project partners."

You flash him your most charming smile as you slide into an empty seat. "Perfect timing then."

A "I WAS A BET ALL ALONG?" FIC - ANGST FLUFF SMUT PART 1 HERE!

Synopsis: You’re used to observing Yang Jungwon from a distance.

Campus golden boy, dance department star, the kind of person you warn your podcast listeners about—the ones that are too charming, too smooth, too easy to love.

But then he starts looking back. Smiling at you across coffee shops. Sitting next to you in lectures. Texting you late at night. Before you know it, you’re in a relationship that feels too good to be true.

And that’s because it is. He was supposed to make you fall for him. And he did.

The problem? He fell too.

(But love doesn’t erase betrayal, does it?)

wc:12K cw (MDNI 18+): Fake relationship (except only one of them knows it’s fake), MC has a real, long-standing crush while Jungwon is playing her (at first)Hidden motives/dishonesty / emotional manipulation, Jungwon realizing too late that he’s actually in love, Angst with a side of oh god what have I done, MC is the anonymous voice behind the uni’s podcast (which Jungwon listens to), A slow descent into mutual devastation™, Things get romantic… but also soul-crushingly painful, A love story that starts as a game but turns into something neither of them can control, SMUT LIKE SMUT SMUT SMUT, i acc love you smut but its a bet but i love u

-

"When we talk about intimacy, listeners, we often reduce it to the physical. But true intimacy? That's when someone sees the messiest, most vulnerable parts of you—the parts you hide from everyone else—and chooses to stay anyway.

Some of you have written in asking if it's possible to know when a connection is genuine. If there's some foolproof way to tell if someone's feelings match the words they say. The disappointing truth is that there isn't. Trust is always a leap of faith.

But here's what I've learned recently: sometimes, the truth lives in the quiet moments. In the way someone looks at you when they think you're not paying attention. In the unconscious things they do that speak louder than any words could.

This is Min, reminding you that while love always involves risk, the greatest risk might be closing yourself off to the possibility entirely. Until next time, keep it real."

You finish the recording and remove your headphones, the morning sunlight streaming through your dorm window. You've been up since dawn, unable to sleep with all the thoughts swirling in your mind—and the memories of last night still sending pleasant shivers down your spine whenever you recall them.

Your phone chimes with a text:

Jungwon [8:05 AM]: Good morning, beautiful. Can’t stop thinking about last night. The way you completely lost it when my mouth was on you… baby, you were so loud. I’m pretty sure my neighbors now know exactly what you sound like when you cum 👀

fairy lights strung across the hallway cast a warm glow on the gaggle of your neighbours crammed into the shared corridor. plates heaped with enough food to feed a small army overflowed from a makeshift table, the air thick with the aroma of baked ziti and something suspiciously like burnt brownies.

"I'm making a list."

"Oh God, not this again," Tia's voice crackled through the speaker. "What is it this time? 'Top Ten Pizza Toppings Ranked by Emotional Stability'? 'Compelling Evidence That My Neighbor's Cat Is Plotting World Domination'?"

You snorted, balancing your phone between ear and shoulder as you scribbled on a notepad at the kitchen counter. The house was quiet for once—a rare moment of peace while Jade actually slept in after exhausting herself at soccer practice the night before.

"It's called 'Reasons Why Taking Jade to the Soccer Clinic is a Terrible Idea.' I'm already at number twelve."

"Only twelve? You're slipping. I remember the Great Ice Cream Debate of 2019 hit twenty-seven reasons why chocolate chip cookie dough is superior to mint chocolate chip."

"That's because you were wrong and I needed to be thorough."

"I stand by my controversial mint opinions," Tia said. Then her voice shifted. "Wait. Are you talking about the Jake Sim clinic? The Jake Sim? Your Jake?"

"He's not my Jake," you said automatically, though the words still stung five years later. You stared down at the list, tapping your pen against reason number four: His last name is literally on her registration form.

"Does he know?" Tia asked quietly. "About Jade?"

"Tia, Of course not," you sighed, glancing toward Jade's bedroom door, still safely closed. "We haven't spoken since he left. You know that."

invisible string theory — yang jungwon. acquaintances to lovers. high school au. slice of life.

inspired by that one line from glue song, “you’ve been hiding in plain sight, then appeared” (2.6k words)

The problem with having 60 students per classroom is you were bound to make a stranger to at least thirty of them. And for someone who doesn’t talk much, it was like meeting half of your classmates for the first time every morning.

You kept close to your circle of friends, just like everyone else did, and kept in mind where to make eye contact when your homeroom teacher announces a group activity. You liked working with the same group of people, so you held a pretty stable and balanced routine at school. Always sitting at the same seat, always staying in the classroom with your packed lunch during break time, and always riding the same train home.

Though, from time to time, a few anomalies would pose themselves to your perfectly lined scheduled—the rain always increased the time it would take to get to school, a predetermined group stands as a barrier between the people you know you work well with, and apparently Mr. Snuffles and his paws that had messed up your alarm clock. The culprit lays on your bed as you hurriedly rush around your room to get to school in time. You’re sure you could make it if the station followed the schedule of when the trains would depart. Preparing your lunch, however, would be impossible, and you would just have to stop by a convenience store before attending homeroom.

You disliked the canteen. Students lived off of crowds, an impossibly long line, and an even poorer selection of food than what you can find in a convenience store. It would take half of your break just to get food, and the rest of the half eating. It’s better when you can hold time in your hands in the classroom.

love grows (where jungwon goes) — yang jungwon. classmates to lovers. mutual pining. jungwon just has a huge crush on you. tooth-rotting fluff.

synopsis. showing affection isn’t jungwon’s strongest forte, but when he sets eyes on you, it’s obvious he has to figure out a way to make you reciprocate his feelings. he’ll take giving you homegrown fruits and vegetables from his garden as a good first step. from then, it’ll be one gift at a time. (4.9k words)

note. i got this idea when yun was talking abt growing lime in her garden. thank U for saying that yun (n tnx for proofreading hehe) also thank u lia and cici for helping me with the synopsis i ltrly lost my brain power n cici for helping me w the banner too ur doodles will always b my favorite : (

On a Monday morning, you receive a star cactus from your class president.

A vest over his school uniform and slightly messy hair. His lips pull into a smile as he places it shyly on your table after muttering a quiet “good morning”.

“Good morning, Jungwon.” His smile grows wider when you take the small pot in your hands, blinking down at it before looking up at the boy. What a pretty plant, you think. The clay pot feels cold in your hands as you outstretch your hands to give it back to Jungwon after giving it a good look.

“It’s a very nice plant.” You laugh a little awkwardly, fingers fidgeting at the edges of the plant before running them over the smooth surface of the pot. You’re not quite sure why your class president brought a cactus to school and chose to show it to you this early in the morning. You suppose it’s because you’re the only person who comes to school as early as he does.

“It’s for you.” Jungwon exhales, pulling down at his vest before bringing a hand to scratch the back of his head. His smile returns to his face as he pushes your hands back so you could keep the star cactus he had gotten from the little garden he grew with his grandmother.

“Oh.” You respond, eyes widening as you take back the plant. You don’t know how to properly respond to him, eyes going from the small pot to Jungwon who’s standing in front of your seat. He’s studying your expression carefully, trying to gauge whether you genuinely liked his thoughtful present. He looked hopeful.

“Thank you.”

A smile finally breaks on your face albeit a little late from being confused with the situation (he’ll understand) as you set the star cactus at the corner of your table, bowing gratefully at the young boy.

after hours — athlete!nishimura riki. strangers to lovers. university au. fluff.

synopsis. when practice gets overwhelmingly exhausting, nishimura riki finds that staying at the field after hours can be such a calming past-time. apparently, you go there when you need to think too. an awkward friendship ensues. (7.5k words)

note. i’ve missed writing long fics in general so i hope this satisfied!

Over the years, Nishimura Riki has come to learn that there was something serene about a football field without any players practicing, playing – without an ear-piercing audience, without the pressure of winning.

Everything is instantly calmer, grass bathed in the moon’s glow, the air peaceful. At this time, the sun would’ve just been traitorously chased away by the moon, taking over the skies, and stirring crickets awake.

Back in high school, Riki would never admit the thrill he got from football, choosing to hide behind straight faces and unfazed facades, but now he’s given himself a break.

He finally allows himself to recognize that the field is filled with potential from promising players who poured their heart out into the sport. What he convinced himself as merely a club back in high school has become a huge part of his life (though he isn’t sure he’s ready to fully admit that yet).

So naturally, staying late for practice wasn’t anything new for the boy. It’s how he came to find out about the serenity of the field. And what stemmed from late practices became a routine for Nishimura Riki. It’s one of the few appeals to signing up for added hours after university.

Playing football was a commitment, but he’s grown to actually enjoy it - as long as he gets to witness the calm after the storm, the same serenity that explains why he’s currently standing in the middle of the field, eyes scanning the empty seats and trying to be engulfed by the solace that surrounded the empty space.

He liked how it felt, as if the entire world had stopped spinning for a moment and time wasn’t chasing after him, even though he’s pretty sure he isn’t supposed to be in the university field this late at night with the amount of homework he has to do the next day.

And on most days, he’d feel embarrassed to be caught in the field in the middle of the night (he was too prideful to admit he has passion for something for the fear of failure and disappointment). He supposes it’s alright though, as long as he comes prepared as to not be caught by—

your name — sim jaeyun. strangers to lovers. university au. coffee shop au. jake just wants to know your name. tooth-rotting fluff. lots of playful flirting.

synopsis. you give a different fake name every time you come into the coffee shop jake works part time in and he just wants to know your real name bc ur cute but here he is scrawling “rainbow dash” into your stupid cup (5.1k words)

note. thank u again to cici for the help with the header T__T i owe u ltrly so much already !! also i’ve been gone for quite a bit so here’s a little thing i wrote for jake <3

The sound of the little bells on the door echoed around you as you and your best friend, Sunoo,  entered the coffee shop you had been meaning to visit on your campus. You weren’t much of a coffee drinker, but today Sunoo had suggested that you accompany him to the cafe as your friends had pretty good reviews.

“You’re buying me something though.” You poke at his shoulder upon walking in, taking a couple of minutes to let your eyes wander around the cozy-looking shop.

There was a fairly steady stream of customers, drifting in and out of the shop with their friends. The place smelled of freshly brewed coffee and sweet warm caramel and chocolate mix, and you could see an array of freshly baked cookies and muffins displayed at the side.

The table was made of wood, and the place was lit brightly – so much so that you immediately recognize Yuna from the Veterinary Medicine department in the corner, sipping quietly on what you’d assume was coffee as she breezed through her homework. Beside her was a strict-looking Yeji. You assume the older girl had persuaded Yuna to finally finish her homework by bribing her with free coffee.

You look behind the counter to keep yourself busy, spotting the frothing machine, a few blenders, jugs of milk, and sacks of coffee beans placed neatly beside the coffee grinder. You could already tell Sunoo was going to be a regular patron of this coffee shop, and as his best friend, you’d be dragged along to come too.

“We did not get into that agreement, idiot.” You stop looking around the place when you feel a sting on your arm, Sunoo hitting it before walking forward towards the counter as the customer before you had successfully finished relaying his order and was now trying to find a seat.

“Yeah, well we’re having this agreement now.” The initial playful smile on your face is replaced by a dumbfounded expression the moment you meet eyes with the boy behind the counter.

You’re convinced your heart had done a million summersaults when he smiled at you.
