PATFW is over now and I couldn't resist to draw a little sketch of old Pinewing. And Pinepaw for compare. My favourite character Asphodelshine for sure, but his design just spokes to me.

I been seeing a lot of PATFW content last year, but for some reason I only decided to check it out when almost all issues were done? And I still baffled by it, it's amaze me that's whole concept of warriors and clans still can manage such interesting themes and topics. And style for issues is genius in it simplicity, finally something that you can believe is possible to do in spare time and finish eventually.

So yeah, thanks to @barrenclan for great comic, I enjoyed it more than I ever could have expected!

The ending of PATFW made me so emotional. When I read the last epilogue the other day, I was on the bus, and spent the rest of the time staring out the window smiling forlornly and trying not to tear up in public. It’s been a wild ride!! This issue is very lore-dense and exposition-heavy, so there's no shame in giving it a couple reads. Pure xenofiction worldbuilding.

Finally, here's the answer to what's going on between Pinepaw and Nightberry, and what the deal is with Pinepaw's visions and such! The magic powers are very much real, but as has been said before, there is no confirmed afterlife or source of the abilities, like Nightberry says in the issue. It does not mean that StarClan is real in this comic. It's a mystery.

I put a lot of my own ideas and thoughts into oracles, but there are some outside media sources that had a very strong influence I'd like to mention, which are the Eye's powers from The Magnus Archives, shining from The Shining, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, and greensight from A Song of Ice and Fire.
