So, this is all relatively new for me. It started with Heaven Official's Blessing and escalated like all my fixations. Right now, I am unable to sleep and spent time creating this list of the ukes in the most recent stories I have finished that stuck out for me, good or bad.

Thank you for this question, but please know my response will be very basic as I am very new to yaoi, but I am devouring everything as if my life depends on it.

My top 3 BL couples:

Sir Gjord x Sylhan.

Kyungjoon x Cain.

Jin Jooha x Kang Dooshik

My top 3 BL romances (I am only mentioning completed stories):

  1. Dear Door. I lucked out because this was my very first taste of yaoi and it set a bar for me. I adored the story, every character introduced, just everything about it was perfection. ๐Ÿ’œ
  2. Sketch. I see comments this story is "boring" but I found it very endearing watching the mundane pains of a brand new relationship and learning about a significant other. It is very heart warming and I am excited for the side story.
  3. Painter of the Night. This story had me outside, howling at the full moon. The art, the historical aspect, the smut, oh my goodness, I loved it so fucking much.

The unasked promising favorites that I keep rereading as I anxiously await updates for...

  1. Antidote. As I live and breathe, this is my bedtime story. I love medieval fantasy, I love couples who are knowingly/unknowingly are devoted to one another. I love the side characters (except fucking Lister, but he's a great villain) and the story is very interesting. I actually started reading the novel and it makes the manwha even better.
  2. The Ghost's Nocturne. The art is beautiful and I am loving the character development and the lore and the art. Delicious.

And now... my guilty pleasures.

Plaything: The Grand Duke's Boytoy. Oh sweet depravity, this story had me chewing on my furniture.

Love History Caused by Willful Negligence. Again, parade of red flags that have me happily following along. (Jinx also falls in this category too, ahhhh)
