Master Post for Ateez Adventure Time AU

Ok let's get into it! I'll be adding to this post whenever I post anything new for the AU! I'm going to try to organize everything so that it's in chronological order of the story! There are a few arcs I've got planned too so I'll try to make everything as clear as possible haha

(also I do my best but sometimes I confuse myself with exact ages of the characters and exactly like. what time of year things would take place, but think of it like any CN show we grew up with - time is seemingly an illusion if I don't think about it too much...)

Good to know points about the AU:

  • Universe A = main universe
  • **this au is inspired by Adventure Time. I'm not using main characters from AT, just using the general vibe of the show and some plot points and character points (ex: Vampires drink the colour red)
  • Universe Z = no magic universe

Ages at the beginning of the story (approximately):

  • Seonghwa - 1000 (physically 25)
  • Hongjoong - 2500 (physically 25)
  • Yunho - 24
  • Yeosang - 850/900 (physically 24)
  • San - a little over 100 (physically 23)
  • Mingi - a little more than 600 (physically 23)
  • Wooyoung - 23
  • Jongho - 22

**characters who are "immortal" age about 1 year over the course of 100 years (SH, HJ, YS). San and Mingi are not immortal but didn't age due to other circumstances (in hell time works differently, and MG was frozen for 600 years)

“Love?” you sang, skipping toward your paramour, your voice lilting in a way that would have sounded sweet if not for the blood splattered across your cheeks and the wicked gleam in your eye. The crimson stained your dress as you twirled the blade in hand, its tip dripping in time with your steps.

“How did I do?”

“You’ve really outdone yourself this time,” Yunho sighed, almost wistfully, his tone warm despite the dark intent behind his words. He reached out, his thumb tracing a path down your blood-streaked cheek.

You grinned, throwing yourself into his arms as he caught you effortlessly, pulling you into a kiss so deep that the world around you blurred. Smoke clung to him like a second skin, mingling with the sharp, metallic tang of blood that lingered in the air.

When he finally pulled back, his eyes flickered to the bloodied corpse swaying gently from the chandelier—your latest masterpiece. Yunho’s gaze lingered, his expression unreadable, save for the slight curl of his lips. Approval, tinged with something far darker.

“Wasted potential,” you pouted, toying with the lapel of Yunho’s jacket. “I really wanted to keep him.”

no listen. yunho's the type to drink for you at parties. the taste of alcohol makes you gag, not to mention you can't drink to save your life–two shots and you're out. so when the guys start chanting for you to chug the remaining whiskey straight from the bottle, you're terrified. that's a death sentence for you and yunho knows it. without a word, he grabs the bottle from your hand and starts skulling down the liquid like it's nothing, whiskey spilling down his chin and neck, soaking his shirt. "i told you fuckers she's not drinking." his voice is stern, his glare so sharp the room grows quiet. then he turns to you with the softest gaze, "let's get outta here". there's something so hot about tipsy! stern! protective! yunho that makes your heart skip like he looks so unaffected but his breath reeks of alcohol–all the shots he's taken for you just so you don't have to ever taste bitterness. you're his soft spot; his only weakness. you can never tell if yunho's drunk, and that makes you nervous. because what if he's just joking when he teases you with the cutest smirk "do you like me?" what if it's just the alcohol acting up when he pulls you into his lap so you won't have to sit next to a group of strangers on the crowded couch. what if all this is just a mistake? but when he wraps his arms around you protectively and tells you no one's touching you as long as he's here, you know everything's real. the heat from his body, his breath on your lips. "san, it's my cuticles, i don't feel a thing" and when you and your mom attempt to explain to him what a french tip is, he smiles and nods sheepishly, even though you knew very well that nothing went into that boy's head <3
  • loser boyfriend san who claims to take taekwondo and gym classes to "man up" yet every time you fall sick he can't help but bawl his eyes out. "jagiya, it's okay, it's not your fault. it's just a little cough, that's all" you whisper while running your fingers through his hair. san, who had his head buried in between your breasts looks up at you, dragon eyes softened into swollen doe eyes. but your words didn't seem to help. he blabbers, tears beginning to well up in his eyes yet again "what if you die? what if you never wake up again because your cough killed you? what if-" "SAN. I'M NOT GOING TO DIE, IT'S JUST A COUGH"
  • loser boyfriend san who never fails to beat the housewife agenda by packing you cute lunchboxes when you had lessons to attend. every time you opened up the hello kitty themed lunchbox container, your friends would be in awe about how he managed to make the cute octopus shaped sausages, a heart-shaped omelette and fruits cut into different animals. once, you had forgotten your lunchbox at home and not even two hours into class, san showed up at your school running to you while frantically pointing at the lunchbox. "i can't leave my baby starving" is all he said to you before hurrying off to his school in a bike because he doesn't have a drivers license (...)
  • loser boyfriend san who travelled 8 hours to your parent's house without you knowing, just to ask for their acceptance to be your husband. "There is no one who provokes or quarrel with me. I can save her by fighting off bad guys because I have taken exercise hard and i can give her a lot of love because i grew up in a loving home. If you allow me, i will make her happy and comfortable all the time." and of course your parents were over the moon.
