"I won't forgive you," He stares at me with such rage but I ignore it, "I won't forgive you if you die." My grip on the hilt of my sword tightens as I scan his eyes and find a glimpse of what I'm longing to see: fear. The fear of losing me. He cups my cheeks and I sadly smile at him.

"When I meet Aelaris herself, I will curse at the Goddess for bounding you to a woman who is destined to die today." I proclaim as I mimic his stance and cup his cheek too. Without hesitation, Lirian smashes his lips into mine, confusing my nerves with where he starts and where I end.

'They pulled the chair across from me out and sat in it. The tavern carried on when the figure made themselves comfortable. My grip tightened on the hilt of the dagger. They pulled the hood of their cloak off and unclasped it. Their movements were relaxed and unhurried. I ran my eyes over him. He had strange black, swirling tattoos on his neck and long, pointed ears. His clothes were plain. I crossed my arms and sat back in my seat, keeping my eyes on his piercing midnight blue ones. He cocked an eyebrow. "Well?" I narrowed my eyes. "Well, what?" "What's your business here?" "I should be asking you that, considering you silenced a room by being in it." "Fair enough." He paused as the bartender brought another tankard over. "I'm looking for a travel companion." His voice was as deep as the shadows surrounding us. "You're an elf... Don't they prefer to travel on their own?" "Fae," he corrected as he pulled a pipe out of thin air. A black wisp of smoke surrounded his hand as he did so. "But yes, we do. I, however, have had enough of my thoughts being my only company." I nodded. "So?" He raised his eyebrows. I shook my head sadly. "This is something I need to do. Alone." "Alright." He looked a bit disappointed, which was odd, considering we had just met. ' What happens when you're going to kill the Unnamed One and meet a mysterious fae on your journey? Do you trust him, or leave him? And what do you do when you find out what he's been hiding? Iowyn Aedithas is on a quest to save her guild. A quest that could potentially be lethal for her. She's an awfully brave (some would say naive) human to be doing this. Demons have been attacking her guild, and she's had enough. She meets Evaris, the mysterious fae, on her journey and he becomes her travel companion. When they reach their destination, he reveals information that's previously been held close.

Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover. He watched as her eyes skimmed over his dark eyes and black hair with barely a reaction. He felt his pride twinge a bit so he went further. Lifting his hands, he let the blood drip from them. Her eyes widened slightly and her chin rose. She looked at his hands then back at him. His dark eyes gleamed in a challenge. "You've not harmed me or mine, faery." She spoke out loud. "Blood does not scare me and neither do you. Keep your dog on its leash." Then she turned and calmly walked back inside. Intrigued now, he went to the window of the house and watched as she reassured her mother that the dog was gone "I'll see you tonight, reckless child." He promised softly. **** Marcus felt himself beginning to wake and struggled to stay in the dream. But it was no use. His eyes opened and he released the pillow his hand was gripping. It was the same one that she had laid her head on every night. His head went into the pillow heavily for a moment, breathing in her faint scent. He hated and treasured dreams like that with equal fervor. He rolled over on his back and stared at the ceiling. It had been decades since she'd been forced to break that promise. He lifted his hand and touched the ring that had been her last gift. It had been decades, but it was yesterday. ***I did not skimp on the steamy scenes so consider yourselves warned ok?
