Annual Report 2024

Overview
2024 has been a transformative year for mental health initiatives in the WHO South-East Asia Region. The Regional Roadmap for Results and Resilience – our strategic framework for a healthier region – was endorsed and adopted by our Member States. The first pillar of this roadmap calls for “Reinforcing mental health, wellbeing and quality of life for us all”. It is heartening that our entire region has made this clear and unambiguous commitment to the mental health of all who live in South-East Asia.
This report highlights the key initiatives undertaken by WHO, in collaboration with Member States, in 2024. As the pages ahead will show, it has been a constructive and productive year both at the country level, as well as at the regional level.
