This tumbler is so pretty 😍 the customer sent me this picture that was taken on a vacation 🤩 it looks so relaxing and beautiful #picture... | By Dojes Designs LLC | Hey, y'all. This is Donna with Doji's Designs. I'm using printable vinyl. I've already got my image printed. My tumbler is spray painted. I am applying Tim Holtz espresso alcohol ink so the top and bottom. I'm going to take my wrap and peel back a little bit of that backing and I like to cut it off and then I will reapply it and this helps to get my wrap straight on the tumbler and I can press it down and know that it's not going to move on me. So, once I get it lined up how I want it, I'm going to peel that little strip off, push that down I'll get my squeegee with the felt tilt in or the felt side and I will roll that tumbler toward me as I push in a downward motion to get that backing off and that doing it this way helps prevent getting any creases or bubbles under your wrap on the alcohol inks I did use a C sponge and I applied also some mixative snow cap like a white to my sponge and went back over that espresso and that's how I got those blue dots blended with the water. So now, after the epoxy, we're going to clean that rim off, get any epoxy that may got on the top of it. Take a sanding block. We're going to sand it, expose some of that stainless steel for the remainder of the epoxy to adhere to it. We're going to clean out the inside rim from any overspray with some acetone on our rag and now I'm going to go in and put a few straps on this. I thought it would just kind of make it real crisp and clean looking. Um I'm using brown 651 vinyl and it is 0. 75 is the size that I cut it and now I'm using Hogspeed Fest Set it's got UV protectant in it it is low odor dries fast I love this epoxy I've said that 1, 000 times or probably more but I do actually love this epoxy so much I'm going to hit it with some heat pop any bubbles that maybe on there that I don't see and once that's all dried and cure we're going to go through the last process of cleaning this tumbler up this time kind of pointing my my straight edge blade into the cup so I don't break that seal on the top and there it is finished and it's beautiful this actually is a picture of that a customer sent that they had been on vacation and this was a picture they took so we can always take images from your phone and just put em on a cup just be creative here you can see those spots in the alcohol ink and that is from me using a little bit of white mixative and I just put it on the sponge and went back over that espresso and that's result I got. Um alcohol inks are fun to play with. Um you can do so much with them and if you have any questions about how I did the alcohol inks, if you just send me a message and I will be glad to help you. I appreciate y'all watching and I will see y'all next time. Bye.
