All you need is rice, bow-tie pasta, hand sanitizer and paint… and pair it with my counting bats activity pack and you’re ready for some fun!

1. Place rice in a baggie, squirt in hand sanitizer and paint (a little goes a long way, and you can always add more), shake well, and lay out to dry. The drying process goes really fast.
2. Place bow-tie pasta in a baggie, squirt in hand sanitizer and black paint, shake well, and lay out to dry.

Print out my counting bats activity mat, pull cards 1-10, and count bats using the bow tie pasta from your new bin. The interactive reader works on cutting, gluing, and counting numbers 1-5 or 1-10.

Want to skip the pasta? The pack comes with printable paper bats, too!
