Garlic knot quilt pattern

The ARROWHEAD PUZZLE quilt block (also known as "Garlic Knots") uses only the simplest of shapes -- squares and rectangles. The layout of the shapes in a directional format to form the "knot" is what allows for lots of creativity in the final quilt. Rotations of 90 degrees of some of the blocks is what creates intriguing and different outcomes in the quilts. Shown here are two examples of using those rotations with four blocks to form larger units.

I still have a few more blue Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks to share this month. I made four more garlic knot blocks using blue, black/white, and taupe. I have to admit that these are my current favorite block on my design walls. Here are the two colors together that I have completed so far. Oh, but look what can happen with a few rotations! My garlic knot quilt is now in the finished category of my 2018 quilts. I show you the garlic knot pieces I was working on. Then I asked for your advice on which design to use with the blocks.
