We loved to play "Heads up, 7 up"! Seven children were chosen to stand up front. The other children put heads down, cradled in one arm and eyes closed. The other hand would have a thumb up. Each of the first 7 children would quietly walk around the room and push down a thumb. Once complete the teacher said “heads up, seven up!” The students who had their thumb pushed down would make a wild guess who picked them. If correct, they traded places with the picker.
