Programs like this one that incorporate these basic exercises is where a lot of my lower body tone/definition results have come from. ⁣

For this quads and calves workout do each move x12 (12 each for single side moves) 3 rounds of each block before moving to the next. 

Remember your legs are likely a strong muscle, but you don’t have to lift what I do. Start where you are and progress from there. My kettlebell is 60lb, the black dumbbells are each 50lbs, and for single leg calf raises I used 35lbs.

Something I was worried about when I started doing workouts exclusively at home with dumbbells was losing/not being able to build addition leg muscle.⁣

The beauty of bands is that the resistance increases as you stretch them, matching a natural strength curve. Meaning you get more tension as you move into stronger positions. The workout: 
1. Heel elevated smith machine squats - heel elevation = more quad focussed. Focus on full range of motion (maintaining a neutral spine), keep core braced & back tight under the bar. 
2. Leg press - feet hip width apart, full range of motion & control as you lower. 
3. Leg extension - squeeze quads hard at the top, don’t use any momentum & control as you go through the reps. 
4. Heel elevated goblet squat drop set - go heavy for 12, control the reps & push hard. Then drop down immediately into 20x bodyweight (my fav quad burner 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽)

Staying more upright will shift the focus more toward the quad.
