My boys Nursery

Our version of a nursery, making the most of a small room, with a day bed that can be converted into a double bed when we have guests staying over and plenty of storage. I like being creative and putting my own touch on my home, so the room is filled with homemade/DIY and refurbished details.

Easy access when changing is needed and then it can all be Neatly stored out of sight when the room is used as a guest room. Changing table/ chest of drawers is from ikea, as is storage unit on the left. Changing-mat from www.notonthehighstreet.co.uk
As we are limited with space this is the solution we have gone for to accommodate changing table, dresser for baby and additional storage for the bits and bobs we used to store in what was previously just the guest room.
More storage, a good mix of our books and entertainment for baby :-)
Refurbished cot, spent quite some time sanding down this for and then reprinting it. Made a daytime scenery for baby in one end and a night time scenery in the opposite. The mobile is homemade, crocheted fro recipe by @lutteridyl from her book "lutter løkker".
My boys Nursery Room, day bed on the left and refurbished old cot on the right. And my favourite rocking Moose in the middle ;-)
I love Balloons, and was inspired to try this simple DIY trick to create a free 'flowing' Balloon. I've used copper wire for the cord, and drawn the balloon using pro-marker pens. The frame is made up of to cheap Ikea A4 frames, replacing the backboard of one with the 'glass' of the other, and voila!
Day bed from ikea, great solution for a small nursery, that'll double as guest room when we have visitors.
