289K views · 23K reactions | This is how i make beef brisket in the oven. This recipe is so helpful anytime of the year or if you have no access to a grill or a smoker. Don’t take my word for it, just check all the positive reviews and comments. You’ll be happy with the results every time. You will need: 7 pounds trimmed beef brisket 1 cup barbecue seasoning: a mix of ( 3 tbsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper, 1 1/2 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp onion powder) 1/2 tbsp black pepper. barbecue sauce to serve. Preparation: Line the pan with foil and parchment paper. Brush with canola or vegetable oil on both sides. Season the brisket liberally on both sides. For this recipe I added 1 cup of seasoning mix. Iprovided the seasoning amount for 1/2 cup above. Cover with parchment paper, foil paper and seal well. Leave it on the counter top for 1 hour to come room temperature. Place in a 285 degrees F oven for 5 1/2 -6 hours or until internal temp is at about 200 degrees F. I would check it after 5 hours. Wait 1/2 an hour before you slice against the grain. Enjoy with the most amazing barbecue sauce and potato salad. All recipes are on my YouTube Channel Dainty Bite. Individual Beef Wellington with Black Peppercorn Sauce
This beef Wellington recipe can be scaled depending on how many guests you’re having. Instead of making one large beef Wellington, everyone can enjoy their beef filet, surrounded by mushroom duxelle, wrapped in prosciutto, enclosed in flakey puff pastry. Served with a black peppercorn sauce, this is a holiday or special occasion delight.
