The ever lovely @anacarolinaraica wearing our full pannier and petticoat under her lovely pastel perfection gown.

Side front of the British gown from 1735. Note the large cuffs and the stomacher front with robings. The original stomacher looks to be missing and we don't know if it matched or the lady wore something contrasting. I would say it would likely have matched the gown.

18th century 'open gown' - fabric woven about 1736-38, possibly in Spitalfields, London, the gown made about 1770-80.
Detail rear view, robe à la francaise, fabric: France (Lyon or Tours) or probably China for the export market, 1765-1770. Cream silk brocaded with blue floral motifs, linen lining, golden lace trim.
