You can confidently use scikit‑learn according to its BSD‑3‑Clause license. The PolyForm result from FOSSology is almost certainly incorrect and should be treated as a scanner mis-detection. The GitHub repository clearly states:
The PyPI metadata for version 1.7.1 also lists the license as BSD-3-Clause (SPDX) . |

Hi guy!
I scanned the license scikit-learn with FOSSology and it detected some PolyForm-Noncommercial-1.0.0 license. I wonder this is corrected scanning. Anyone help me to verify that result is wrong, and I can use scikit-learn as BSD license?
