I’m new to HA, and following your starter material religiously. Built my system from an old Intel NUC, everything worked, very happy. Worked my way through Getting Started, Onboardung etc, then moved to the Advanced Configuration page.

At that point it stopped being easy, purely because your instructions don’t work.

If I enter the lines you provide at the top of the .yaml file they will not validate.
If I enter them at the bottom of the file they will not validate.

in the end I deleted the first line “Home Assistant”, and cut and pasted the rest after line 3 “Default_confiig:”

Then it validated.
I suspect your instruction / training guide needs correction.
