This is definitely an improvement. I'm not sure libcamera or cvlc has a rotate option when running outside of the desktop, so mentioning that may again be misleading. @6by9? |

Just checked and cvlc doesn't currently support rotate (although there is a plan for it to support it eventually). |

Is the latest commit a "sufficient" fix for that? 😉 |

Fine for now, but possibly speak with @jc-kynesim. I believe this morning he said VLC used drmu (his DRM library) to render direct to DRM, and he does have a PR there for supporting the transpose option on the writeback connector. How involved it is to connect those bits up is a totally different discussion. |
