Florida International University College of Law and the Hispanic National Bar Foundation recently welcomed more than 100 high school, college, and law students as they launched the HNBF National Mentoring Program "Project Access" in Miami, which aims at providing further access and opportunity to minority and other traditionally underrepresented groups in the legal profession.
Students also had the opportunity to network, win scholarships to pay for bar examination prep, and apply for summer programs such as the 2009 HNBF Future Latino Lawyers Law Camp.
"The HNBF is dedicated to empowering the Hispanic community through education," said Mayda Prego, president of the HNBF.
