Month 2

Yes, I know, Pierce will be 7 months in three days. What can I say?!? We've been busy! Here are some pictures from the second month of the little guy's life...

Month 1

Here's a quick glimpse into the first month of Pierce's life...

One week old exactly...this is the phototherapy suitcase Pierce had to be in for a few days when he had jaundice. Poor little guy hated that mask when he was awake. I can't blame him!


Ten days old...I can't believe how tiny he was!!!


Two and half weeks old...tummy time!


Three weeks old...just chillin' on the couch.


Three weeks (and a day) old...heading to Park City for an afternoon out of the house. What's up everyone?!?!


Four weeks old...after trying and failing to load a video three times, I settled on a picture. I'll have to get another video up here sometime. Looking at that outfit now, I can't believe it ever fit him!


Four weeks and two days old...love the look of effort and concentration!

Catch Up

So I am officially the worst blogger! I have a ton to catch up on now that we have an 11-week old! Life has been crazy and busy, but here's a little start to posting on here. This is a video of Pierce when he was three weeks old...pretty cool, huh?

Well, now that our little man is one month old (where did time go?!?), I figured it's time to update our blog. We are so happy to have Pierce in our family, and we think he is the cutest, most adorable little boy! Stay tuned for more posts...I have plenty of pictures to fill our blog, but I'll try not to overdo it! :)

Stars and Stripes

Remember this???



We finally finished it!!! It was no easy task coming up with a way to get the stars done in the shape we wanted. Everything we had originally thought of doing looked too cartoon-ish. So, we ended up penciling the stars on and painting them by hand in order to get the shape we were looking for. I'm not much of an artist so it took a while to paint, but we are definitely pleased with the outcome!

8...

8 weeks that is. I can't believe we are 8 weeks away from our due date! I get more excited and more nervous all at the same time as we get closer to the big day. We're slowly but surely gathering all the baby gear we need to welcome our little guy into this world. And of course, my belly just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Here's my 32-week shot...

Dessert

Since I haven't quite perfected the ability to make holiday dinners quickly and on time, we were both way too stuffed late in the day to eat dessert on Easter. So, I saved the ingredients and made it after Alex got home from Australia.


Pineapple Upside Down Cake--very easy, absolutely delicious, and perfectly healthy. Okay, maybe not healthy, but it sure tasted good!
