Papertrey Ink April Release Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Papertrey Ink April Release Countdown. This month is full of products for Graduation, for Her, and pretty florals.  All the new products will be available on April 22nd at 12 pm EST.

My first project features The Bigs Congrats to the Grad Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. I started by stamping the large graduation cap in the set in True Black Ink. Then I used a white gel pen to accent the dots around the brim of the hat. I stamped the tassel in Versamark Ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

The sentiments are from The Bigs Congrats to the Grad Stamp Set. Since I wanted a more feminine card I added a few flowers with the Into the Blooms: Wreath Dies.

To create the background I used the new Cascading Stars Hot Foil Plate with gold foil on Sweet Blush Cardstock. I framed the card with the Border Bling: Skinny Stars Die.

Supplies:

Stamps: The Bigs Congrats to the Grad
Dies: The Bigs Congrats to the Grad, Into the Blooms: Wreath, Border Bling: Skinny Stars, Frame In Success

Paper: Stamper's Select White, True Black, Sweet Blush, Luxe Gold

My next card showcases the new Cornered: Graduation Die. I cut a piece of Stamper's Select White Cardstock to fit the card front. Next I die cut the Cornered: Graduation Die in each corner at the bottom of the card.  I used the die again to die cut the hat in different colors and inlayed the hats back into the die cuts.

Then I used the Cascading Stars Hot Foil Plate with a Rainbow Foils to add the stars to the background.

The sentiment is another one from the he Bigs Congrats to the Grad. I stamped in Versamark Ink on Hawaiian Shores Cardstock and embossed with gold embossing powder.

A Birthday Wish

Hi All! I am back today with another card I created with the the Blocks of Fun Waffle Flower April Release. I am loving the mix of sweet envelopes, wax seals, and florals.

First I die cut seven envelopes in a variety of colors with the Envelope Die and the Postage Collage Mini Seals Die. The envelope in the center is die cut with the Postage Collage Mini Seals Die which also included the letter that fits in the envelope and the floral dies.

I arranged the envelopes on the card and die cut a circle from vellum to put under the open envelope in the center. I added details to the envelopes with small wax seal, hearts, and candy dots.

The larger sentiment is from the Sealed Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut with the Sealed Sentiments Dies. The sentiment in the envelope is from the the Postage Collage Birthday Stamp Set.

Sending Love and Hugs

Today I  sharing projects that I created with the new Yana's Daisies Collection from Spellbinders.  I was so excited to get to work with this product line. The Daisies are so pretty and the products make it easy to create cards that make a beautiful statement.

My first card features the beautiful Yana's Daisies Etched Dies. Products will be linked below. I think the details on these dies are so pretty. When assembled, this set of two thin metal cutting dies create argon daisy cluster with an outline to anchor the design

I die cut the daisies from white cardstock and then blended ink to add the color. I die cut the anchor die from a green cardstock and layered it behind the die cuts to add just a touch of green. The sentiment is added with the Crafty Hugs Sentiments Plate & Die Set . There are eight sentiment plates with corresponding dies to cut out the seven large sentiments.

I cut a piece of Fairy Tale Cardstock to fit the card front. Then I used the Layered Daisy Shower Stencil to add the daisies to the background. Then I embossed the card front with the new Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder. I finished off the card with a few Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems

My next card is so easy to create with the Daisy Shower BetterPress and Stencil Bundle from Yana's Daisies Collection. You need the Spellbinders BetterPress Letterpress System to use Daisy Shower BetterPress Plate but it worth the investment. I used Cosmic Sky Ink to ink up the plate. Then I used the coordination Daisy Shower Stencil to add the color to the daisies. Such a quick way to get an impressive result!

Here is a closer look at how the ink is pressed into the BetterPress Cotton Card Panel. I created a A4 card but the Daisy Shower BetterPress plate is perfect for an A7 sized card too. This a another sentiment from the Crafty Hugs Sentiments Plate & Die Set.

At the bottom of the card I added the borders with the Winter Borders Etched Dies and finished off with a few Color Essentials Gems in Opal.

Thanks for taking a look!!

Sealed with Love

Hi! I am popping in today with another card I created with the Blocks of Fun Waffle Flower April Release. My card features the Postage Collage Envelope Die and the Postage Collage Envelope Stencil.

First I die cut the card front with the Postage Collage Envelope Die. I love the option of being able to open the flaps and the envelope die can be used for so many different occasions. I used the Postage Collage Envelope Stencil to make each envelope a different color.

I opened the flap on one of the center envelopes and added floral die cut from the Postage Collage Mini Seals Die. To add the gold hearts to each envelope I used the  Postage Collage Envelope Stencil with a gold paste. I also created the seal with the Postage Collage Mini Seals Die.

I used the Postage Collage Stamp Set to added the stamped details. I added the sentiment with the Subsentiments Sealed Diecuts.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a good day!

Next I die cut the images with the Create in Quads - Flit & Flutter Coordinating Dies.

I die cut the card front with the largest die in the Squiggle Stacklets. I used the Set the Scene - Clouds Stencil Strips with Cupcake Ink to lightly stencil clouds in the background. I also splattered the background with gold paint. I added the sentiment with the Foil It - Mini Strips - Occasions and Dragon Fruit Foil.

On my second card I foiled and stenciled the birds as above and die cut with the Fit & Flutter Cutting Plate. I stenciled the clouds in the background, splattered paint, and then inlayed the birds back into the die cuts.

Block of Fun with Waffle Flower

Hi and thanks for stopping by! Today I have two projects to share with you that I created with  new products from the Block of Fun Waffle Flower April Release. I chose to work with a group of products that are a mix of sweet envelopes, wax seals dies, pretty flowers and sealed sentiments.

I am giving away a $20 Gift Card on my Instagram account. Leave a comment for a chance to win.

The card front on this card is die cut with the Envelopes Die. I just love how the die cut the outline of an envelope. You can open the flap if you choose to. I used the Cloudy Stencil to lightly add stenciled clouds to the envelope flap.

I added the flowers with the new Dry Flowers Die. I die cut the flowers from white cardstock and then blended ink to add the color.  The wax seal is the perfect touch. I used the largest die in the Wax Seal Die Set to create the seal and then added the small envelope with gold foil. To add the look of wax I added a coat of Glossy Accents to the outside rim.

In the corner I created the stamp with a mix of the new Postage Collage Seals Stamp and the previously released Postage Collage Stamp Set. To add the sentiment I used the nw Sealed Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Sealed Sentiments Die.

My next card features the new Postage Collage A6 Blocks Die which die cut the white frame with the windows. I die cut the frame twice from white cardstock and glued the layers together to add a little more depth.

I used the Postage Collage A6 Blocks Stencil to added the background color to each window with ink and a blender brush. I filled each postage themed window with a combination of stamps and dies from the Postage Collage Mini Seals DieEnvelopes Die, and the Postage Collage Stamp Set

The tiny stamps are die cut and stenciled with the Postage Collage Miniature Die-n-stencil which is free with a purchase of $60.00 or more.

This is another sentiment from the Sealed Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Sealed Sentiments Die.  I used a few clear rhinestones to finish off the card.
