A Little Bit of Catch Up!

I won't write too much mainly just pics. Update on what's going on with us or mainly most importantly my sweet girls. Savanah started preschool with Mrs. K and she loves it! I can't believe she is getting so big. She is such a smart girl and I am so proud of her. She makes Brian and I laugh all the time. Today while taking a shower "like a big girl" as she says, she drew our family on the steamy glass door. If you knew what her stick figures looked like you would just laugh. Ainsley is growing up WAY too quickly, man soon it will be time to have another one...NO JUST JOKING! Ainsley is 8 months old now and is army crawling everywhere and fast may I add. She loves to eat. She makes these funny noises while she eats, Savanah and I call her "the Ainsley monster". She waves hi/bye, sits up, pulls herself up on things and wants to be the center of attention! I love it! She is one cute girl. I always tell Savanah she is my favorite first daughter and Ainsley is my favorite second daughter. They are my favorite little girls!

My two cutie pies! What more can we ask for!

I just love this pic. Ainsley is always happy and smiling...unless shes hungry but can you blame her.

Savanah's first day of preschool with Mrs. K. She was sooo excited!

Savanah having a bad day or posing...you decide, either way I love this picture!

Ainsley with cousin Treston, or as my dad says "Mich", in their matching bear hug onesies. Thanks Aunt Sylvia

A Camping We Will Go!

For Memorial Day we went camping! We all had a real good time minus the rain. Actually the rain really wasn't all that bad. After two days of rain, off and on, we had two gorgeous days of sunlight and nice weather. I love the mountains and camping. This was Ainsley's first camping trip. I think she did quite well. We ended up staying in the tent trailer with my parents, which was a lifesaver. The first night both Savanah and Ainsley slept surprisingly well. The second night I think Ainsley had a bad dream or something cause she woke up crying. Other than that Savanah was busy playing with my dad's friends grandson and Ainsley had her cousin Treston to party with in the playpen. I am so glad that my family likes to camp!

I WONDER WHAT KIND OF MISCHIEF MY COUSIN AND I CAN GET INTO!

BAD TO THE BONE!!!

I GOTTA GET ME ONE OF THESE!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, this year, we celebrated it on Saturday. My mom, Aunt Sylvia, Aunt Diane, Grandma Rios, myself, and Savanah all went to Schnepf Farms to pick peaches. We then went to the Queen Creek Olive Mill for an early lunch and then went shopping at Queen Creek Shopping Plaza. It was a fun and busy day for all of us. It was nice to hang out with my aunts, mom and grandma, we never really get to shop and hang out all together. Schenpf Farms was fun except I thought that the peaches were kinda expensive so I didn't really get that many. They sure were good though! Very Juicy! Savanah had fun eating the peaches; they let you eat as many as you wanted while you were picking them! She was a peachy mess! Brian was such a nice husband and dad and stayed home with Ainsley while she napped. She even took a bottle for him with no problems. Thank you Ainsley and Brian! Needless to say we all had a great time!

I know I know...New post finally here!

Ainsley reading so quietly! She loves the Bumbo!

Well, I've been slacking on posting and I have no excuse at all. Maybe just being lazy. Now that I am getting a full nights sleep (Ainsley thank-you thank-you) I need to start posting the wonderful things my family and I are up to. Let's see where to begin:
Ainsley is now 3 1/2 months old. Where does the time go. She is such a good little, happy baby. She weighs about 13 or so lbs (probably more) and is such a bundle of joy. Her and Savanah have this special bond, it is so cute. Savanah was making Ainsley laugh so hard yesterday at dinner and as soon as I got the camera out to record it Ainsley stopped and got camera shy. Of Course! Ainsley rolled over for the first time about three weeks ago, a lot sooner than Savanah did. We were at my parents house having tummy time and Ainsley decided she was done with tummy time and rolled right over. I was shocked so I yelled for Brian and my mom to come and witness and sure enough she did it again! What a smart cookie! She is always so happy and mellow. I thought maybe I was going to have a skinny baby this time around but sure enough she plumped up, but I like chunky babies they're the cutest!

Ainsley smiling for the camera!

Savanah is becoming such a typical little 3 year old. She is full of life and loves to play with her friends and scream! If I remember correctly I liked to scream a lot as a child, I guess it runs in the family! She is into playing with barbies, polly pockets, and using her imagination! Savanah has almost mastered writing her first name, all capital letters! She is always making Brian and I laugh by her random remarks.

I am loving being a mom of two beautiful and wonderful girls. Yeah I've had my hard moments but what mom doesn't. I have realized that it is more important to play and teach your kids things than have a immaculate looking home. I do clean but I just do it at night once the kids go to sleep. I think I have become a little more patient having two kids and I am starting to adjust to having a family of four. Brian has been great as our family has grown. Savanah and Brian just got done finishing her pine wood derby car. Yeah I know what you're thinking pine wood derby is for cub scouts! Well ever since I became the Webelos leader Savanah thinks she is a girl "scub scout" as she says, which means she wanted to have a car for the pine wood derby race. Brian carved and sanded it and Savanah painted it all by herself. It was the girliest looking car there, decked out in pink and purple and Hello Kitty stickers. She was so proud of it!

Savanah's Pinewood Derby Car! Oh so girly!

That's what's been happening lately over here with us. I'll keep updating as more things happen. Enjoy the pics!

Here are some random pictures that I thought I would share with everyone. We are all finally recouperating from being sick and having family in town. We had so much fun with Nathan and Lani and Max, and then a week later Brian's parents and Courtney. We ended up blessing Ainsley that weekend since Brian's parents were in town. Brian did a great job at the blessing, but even better news we had record breaking family who cam to the baby blessing. Thanks mom and dad (yes my dad), Aunt Sylvia, grandma Rios, uncle Steve, Tyler and fam, Melissa and fam, Courtney, and mom and dad Romney for coming to the blessing; it means so much to us to have your love and support. I was nervous that Ainsley wasn't going to fit in the dress but she looked beautiful and it fit perfectly just a little big.

My Dad got this cake for Ainsley and had the wording put on it. I thought that was very nice of my dad.

Ainsley must hve been dreaming of daddy and laughing at how goofy he can be sometimes

Matching sister dresses! Aren't they adorable! yes I I'm one of those moms that like to dress my girls alike if I can!

How to keep a 3 year old occupied while nursing?!

This is what Savanah was doing today while I was feeding Aisnley. It was pretty funny! But hey it works!
