Boise

We went over to Boise to see the great grandparent over Labor Day.  It was so great to get to spend time with them by ourselves.  The kids loved getting to see Cookie Grandma and Balloon Grandma.

Nelly looks a lot like my Grandma McArthur.  Not all of the time but their are definitely times that both Brandon and I say she looks just like Esther which is fitting because Nelly has Grandma's middle name, Jane.

Nelly can crawl!!!!  I didn't think she ever would because she has been so content to just sit, look, and smile.  But she finally figured it out and she loves her new found freedom.

1st day of school

Owen started 1st grade at Gate City this year.  He was really excited to go to the same school that dad went to.

Norah started preschool at Mrs. Sherri's.  She was very excited to go to school too.

Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy has made several visits to our house recently.  6 times to be exact.  The dentist pulled 2 of Owen's teeth out, 1 fell out while he was sleeping and he woke up sucking on it. While we were swimming at Ross Park Owen got hit in the face with an inner tube and his tooth pooped out in the lazy river. Owen was very concerned that the tooth fairy wasn't going to come because his tooth was somewhere in the lazy river.  We decided to write a note.  This is what he came up with all by himself.

Lagoon

We went with some of our friends to Lagoon this summer.  The kids had a blast.  Owen was big enough to ride most of the big rides and Norah had fun riding the kiddie rides.

Nelly was a trooper and had fun just sitting there in the stroller.

Owen liked the bumper cars but Norah couldn't figure out how to make them go straight so she just went in circles the whole time.

Water Polo

We watched a lot of Olympics at our house this summer.  I went outside one day and found the kids playing water polo...
