End of an Era
I have been up all night not able to sleep. I have been thinking about my family, my kids, my Barrett. I didn't nurse him today. He's 11 months old. He's growing up. He's not my baby anymore and next thing I will know he'll be going to school and I will be all alone at home. I am missing him and all my kids already. I love them all. I feel so lucky that they chose me to be their mother. Thank you boys, I find it a great honor to be your mother. Tonight I am dwelling on the end of an era for me. No more little tiny babies in my home. Although they are all growing up I will never forget the feeling of holding my baby close to me, rocking them to sleep and the feeling of their head laying on my shoulder, singing hush little baby and you are my sunshine, the sounds of your baby laughs when I tickle your fat. I love you boys!

Tiny Bird Photography: May 2011.
A new friend, who I feel like I have known for a lifetime, is a talented emerging photographer (http://tinybirdphoto.blogspot.com/). She obliged to take our family photos this spring. I was brought to tears seeing those little boys of mine captured perfectly. Here is a sampling:

Owen Student of the Month
Owen was chosen as student of the month for his class. They focus mostly on character development and actions than academic they get a cute crown and a special donut reception with all the other Student of the months and their Principal. He was very proud and excited about the whole thing.

Bahamas: Paige Loves Justice
Sweet Paige found true love and married him in the Bahamas. She thought of every last detail and their love for each other was felt the whole weekend and made for a wonderful vacation. Earl and Alesa were brave enough to take on the 4 boys and I was able to relax laugh and reconnect with all my old friends. A lifetime memory!

Merry Christmas
We visited Las Vegas for Christmas along with all of Brock's siblings. We had a great time lots of kids, lots of craziness, but mostly lots of love. We were also able to head down to Tucson to see all my family. The boys really enjoy the 'Grandpa Great with no Grandma' house and having their cousins there was awesome! Doug's girls are so sweet and fun and they get along so well with my boys. Winner gifts this year were scooters for Owen and Clay and a strider for Davis.

Moving Fast
Barrett is almost 5 months (don't ask he's growing up too quickly and it is making me sick). Owen had a girl from school over today and when he fell off his bike you could tell he wanted to cry (really bad) but he sucked it in and played it tough, Clay is in love with his preschool teacher and is starting to read (small books, really small books) and Davis is talking too much! Brock is finishing up his last 2 months with the Air Force. It's all moving too fast. I want to make it all stop but not all at the same time cause we're having so much fun.

Summer Travels
This AZ sun is a scorcher and with a brand new baby there is no way to go outside so we hit the road . .
picked blueberries just south of Monterey
and their aquarium where Clay got a photo with his best friend Nemo
visited family in Crescent City and played in their huge tree house (that's Owen at the top)
super fun fishing and crabbing at coos bay in oregon
all to see this lady . . . Aunt Fern (and other family that we didn't get pictures with we were having so much fun we forgot to take pictures!)
and then passed through the beach one more time on our way back to AZ
and this baby was a champ the whole way
