I am waiting here for Dad to come and sit

down with me. Here we are watching TV together. Dad likes to watch SyFy. Might as well, all it's doing is raining outside. But we did get some really neat sunshine for a change today.

Almost Wordless Wednesday

I was sitting on Mom's lap minding my own

business when she started taking pictures

of me. It was O.K. this time, cause she

didn't use the flashy thing.

Sleep Deprived

I have to catch up on my sleep that I lost

last night. Mom woke up about 3:30 this morning

and had to go to the bean litter room and Cleo

and I were so cozy laying next to her and she

had to go and disturb us. When she got back

and tried to get comfy again, I thought she

started to purr. She said no Casper my

stomach is growling, I'm hungry. Well any

how she finally got back to sleep after moving

around a bit to get comfortable again. Took

her awhile though.

Thank You for Birthday Greetings.

Mom wants to thank all her purr-buddies for

all the good wishes for her birthday. Son bean

took her out to dinner and she had chicken and

I only got a couple small pieces from it. She said

it was mmmm good. I have to admit even with

the small pieces it was good. Guess that's why

she ate most of it. Well.........that doesn't give

her the excuse to eat all of it. Gosh I

can't get in this thing straight!!

Mom: Thank you all so much for my

birthday greetings and wishes. It really

helps to make the day more purr-fect.

Cleo's Tail

Mom says Cleopatra has a long

luxurious tail and loves to see

it stretched out. Cleo usually

has it folded around her and

you can't see it.

Sorry we haven't been visiting

lately. Mom has been having

fits with her computer and on

top of that she had a defective

printer cartridge. When she

took it back today she almost

didn't get to exchange it. But

she asked for the manager and

that did it. She got a new one

and it works. The pictures

she was printing finally came

out like it looks like on the

screen. Mom also wanted to

print Christmas cards with

a photo that was taken when

son bean was out from Michigan.

No sucess with that either.

Believe me, she tried hard and

long on that. Please don't talk

about that. It's lost in the

computer somewhere. She's

using the Christmas cards she

bought.

Dear Lord

Sunrise and Sunset

Mom's eyes popped open yesterday morning

and said "what a pretty sunrise." She

got up and went outside in the cold

in her pajamas and snapped the

picture. Came in and crawled under

the covers again. She had to get

out on the other side of the bed

because I wasn't going to move.

It was not time for me to get up yet.

She was on the computer last evening and

looked out the window and said, "Oh Wow,

are we having a beautiful sunset too." What

more can we ask for; a beautiful sunrise and

sunset too, all in the same day. The whole

day was very pretty with the bright blue

sky and clouds floating around

Casper Where He Isn't Suppose To Be

I finally trained Mom that HER computer

chair is MY territory too. She has conceded

and put a towel on it so my back claws won't

wreck it. She doesn't like me to sit in it with

her cause it's to small for the both of us. So

I usually have to sit on my chair right next

to her.

Mom got down on the floor to shoot this

picture. You can tell by the ceiling in the

closet mirror. I am sorry we haven't been

visiting much lately, I have to try and get

Mom out of the funk she has been in lately.

Guess I have to give her more purrs and

kisses.

Mom finished reading this book

last week. " Homer's Odyssey."

It's a story about the life of a

black blind cat. It's really good

and well written, Mom recommends

it to all furr parents.

Creation

Stormy Sunday

We had a wild day yesterday as far as the

weather was concerned. It rained so hard.

Then the sun came out when it was raining

and of course Mom went crazy looking for

the rainbow and then taking all kinds of

pictures. Here is one half of it.

This is the other half. Then the sky got really dark.

Here is Dad watching it rain and smoking

his cigarette. If you bigify the picture you

can see the rain.

After this another storm

came through with a lot of lightning and

thundering. Mom was in all her glory

watching and listening to it. I thought

it was a great day for napping.

LIving God

For He is the living God and He endures forever.

His kingdom will not be destroyed, His dominion

will never end. He rescues and He saves; He

peforms signs and wonders in the heavens and

on the earth. He rescued Daniel from the power

of the lions.

UPDATE

Update on Al Solitaire.

He has come back and our neighbor Linda is

really happy about that. He has had his ectomy

and is recuperating. She will probably keep

Him.

The Black and White kitty, we are pretty

certain is Al's brother. He is going to have

his ectomy a little later. This little guy

does not have a name. I'm kind of hoping

Linda will adopt him too. He is just as

friendly as Al. Oh by the way, Al's full

name now is Alexander the Great, Al

for short. Solitaire has been dropped.

They both are sweethearts.
